The G5 is brighter and has more color saturation to my eye. The C6H looks dimmer and not as colorful. So if I had to choose between the two it would be the G5. That's not to say the C6H isnt a beautiful looking tv because it is. But it just don't have that punch for me that the G5 does.

Across small highlights and bright scenes, the G5 hits higher peaks than the A95 L, and it keeps that advantage in game mode where many TVs dim. The A95 L is still a bright OLED by any standard, but the G5 pushes specular highlights harder and sustains them longer, which gives you punchier sparks.

And this is in no particular order, but the first best thing about this TV is that it can come supplied with either a tabletop stand or a flush fitting wall mount. Now, as you can see, I have the G5 wall mounted, but I actually went for the tabletop stand. And I've not put it together yet, but I've got the base here. And as you can hear, it is proper solid. Nice quality bit of kit.

Also, I was kind of shocked cuz this TV can go 165 Hz through the HDMI 2.1, which is also pretty neat. But also, this thing has cheese sync and like super low response time. Like it it's not like 25 or 30 ms response time. It's more like 5 to 7.

I had the S95D, the A95L and the G5. I kept the G5 despite the few issues. All three have some type of defect that annoyed me. NONE OF THEM are perfect. But where the Samsung really is the clear winner is the HDR color volume. This is what QD OLEDs have always been known for, and that continues today. It displays bright and dark colors without any issues, making your favorite content look punchy and vivid. This isn't to say that the LG is bad. It's actually pretty excellent for this.

If you want the most impactful HDR in all sizes that use the new panel, the G5 has the edge, but you won't notice it in practice. The Z95B is still a very bright OLED, and it looks fantastic with real HDR content. So, overall, it's basically a tie here, even when gaming. Both are accurate in HDR, too, but they present HDR a bit differently.

On the LG, the judder is more visible at first. When you start adding motion processing, it takes a bit more effort to calm things down, and that's where the image can start feeling slightly managed. The Sony just shows it almost bluntly, and that's the point. You see the motion as it exists, then decide how much help you want. It doesn't make that decision for you.

Now, a quick warning. Out of the box, the TV was pushing brightness so hard it was actually blowing out the detail. After the latest firmware update, LG actually lowered the peak brightness slightly in accurate modes to save detail. You lose a bit of pop, but you stop losing information in the highlights. A serious problem is that the HDR issues were only fixed in Film Maker Mode. The other picture modes AND game optimizer need fixing. I feel like if just those two get addressed, G5 owners like myself can sleep soundly knowing we have a great TV.

My biggest issue with the LG G5 it no longer supports DTS audio like the G4 does, its not acceptable for flagship tvs to be taking out features when the tv is so expensive because they charge you a premium.

So, the first thing I would say is the LG G5 is a good TV for somebody who does not have a lot of windows. If you have a lot of windows, you're going to struggle with that glare. It's not going away. Now, that being said, I prefer glossy screen over the matte finish screen that we've seen out of TVs like the Sony Bravia, or rather not the Sony Bravia, the Samsung S95F, S95D, things like that.

I have spent more time analyzing the G5 up close in dark HDR content and come to the conclusion that the G5 dithering issue (or crawling) is a large enough problem to knock it from a 10/10 to a 9/10.

But for the most part, I don't think many people should be using this and you should probably just operate off of the given picture modes that the TV comes with. There is something for everybody in my opinion. I will say that one downside that I found with the AI is the AI picture pro. It just seemed like it was too indecisive.

The answer is kind of mostly yes. It depends if you watch normal TV or not because yeah, this the real issues are real with the G5. They're they're definitely real. They're not something that is just kind of fabricated or made up out of thin air. These are some real issues.
