The Bravia 8 II doesn’t join the Samsung S95F in sporting extreme reflection-rejecting filters, but it still suppresses reflections pretty well, and some viewers will prefer the slightly glossy look to the Bravia 8 II pictures versus the completely matte look of the Samsung S95F.Read T
Case in point, the company's former flagship OLED model – the Sony A95L – was announced in 2023, but wasn't replaced until the Bravia 8 II was launched in 2025.Read

this tv is amazing! The front door delivery is very nice and the driver was very helpful. The oled qd is going to really "shine" for the Xbox and dark gaming scenes that had my older Sony making want this newer qd oled. I got a great price and would rather use Crutchfield over any other electronics retailer. I'm also loving not having a center channel speaker!Read W
Could the 2025 Sony Bravia 8II QD OLED TV be the new king of OLEDs? I'm unboxing, setting up, and testing it to find out!Watch S
So, I pulled the trigger and went with the SONY Bravia 8 II 65 inch (with my failed TV and some extra cash) and I am happy. I have owned it for 6 months and it is a superb TV with all kinds of adjustments. It is much brighter and more color accurate than my old TV. I was never a SONY fan, always went with SAMSUNG but I think SONY has surpassed SAMSUNG.Watch R
The Sony BRAVIA 8 II, for its part, is the 2025 successor to the Sony A95L OLED, one of the best OLEDs we have ever reviewed. Is the new BRAVIA 8 II an able successor to the A95L? And how does it fare against Samsung’s mid-range S90F? Well.Watch W
Now, let's be clear: the Sony Bravia 8 II is still the better TV. It's brighter, more vibrant and more refined, producing an even more cinematic and authentic picture. Its built-in sound system is also leagues ahead of the LG's, delivering audio that's fuller, weightier and more immersive than almost any other TV.Read A

The richer blacks and easier user interface turned the Sony Bravia 8 II into my first choice being quite the cinephile. Today, we're going to be checking out 2025's best TV of the year, the Sony Bravia 8 Mark 2. All right, so I may be a little bit late on this review, but I wanted to get this in because lately I've been uploading a lot of my videos to YouTube in HDR, and I wanted to get something in where I can check my workflow or just check my work to see what it would look like on YouTube.Watch A
Overall, the BRAVIA 8ii is an excellent TV that provides some of the best calibrated cinematic image quality on the market with excellent image processing and tone mapping. But the competition this year is intense, and the BRAVIA 8ii has a real fight on its hands. It comes highly recommended.Read B
The Sony Bravia 8 II is Sony’s TV flagship for 2025 and today it goes against the Samsung S90F which is not the Flagship even though it performs like one. This is an epic battle between two amazing TV'S. You tell me who you think wins.Watch C
The Sony Bravia 8 II offers a lot when it comes to power, processing and features. The 65-inch screen offers 4K visuals with rich colors thanks to the QD OLED screen, and it has an impressive refresh rate of 120 Hz, making it a fantastic choice for gaming.Read B

Credit to Sony for including a power cable that can be partially detached. "Partially" because, unlike some earlier models, the connector is not placed directly on the TV but instead on an extension piece, splitting the power cable into two parts.Read B
Both are incredible QD OLEDs and among my favorite TVs of 2025. Now CES is going to be all about micro RGB and RGB mini LEDs in general. I've seen plenty of them and I will bring you that footage when I am at CES in just a few weeks. But let's not forget about OLED, especially quantum dot OLEDs which in my opinion is still the best image quality on the planet, especially these two beautiful TVs thWatch I Instagram Instagram post

I have the Sony Bravia 8ii 65' and 55" It's the best TV I've ever had. I don't think making a 75+ Bravia 8ii would be profitable because the TV would be 5K plus, 4x the price of the competitor.Watch N
So, I've been testing out Sony's latest OLED TV, the Bravia 82, and honestly, I'm pretty impressed with what they've done here. This thing is noticeably brighter than Sony's previous OLED model, and the picture quality is legitimately competing with the best OLEDs out there right now. But here's what really caught me off guard, the sound.Watch H

If the Sony was reasonable priced, had 4x hdmi 2.1 (which you would expect at this asking price), had a game menu bar on par with the likes of LG and Samsung, wasnt screwing customers by doing bizar things, like taking away the back-lit remote, making the whole experience feel cheap(er), while asking the highest price amongst the tv brands, then yes . i'd probably go directly to the Bravia 8 II. It has the better processing, clearly, and one of the better build-in sounds.Watch S
In terms of hardware, this has got to be one of the best, most premium, state-of-the-art TVs you can buy. It's the Sony Bravia 82. Unfortunately, Sony kind of just snatched defeat from the jaws of victory at the last second with the way they've set this up, and we'll talk about that later with some charts and crap.Watch R Residential Systems John Sciacca · reviewer
My only real complaint with the TV is the BRAVIA Connect app. While the app provides really rich control over the TV, giving you direct access to every app you’ve installed, as well as quick access to picture adjustments and menu control, it frequently wouldn’t connect. It would say the TV was offline and not connected to the network, even though it was actively streaming something.Read B

When I applied certain settings to a specific input, then switched to another input and returned, some of the settings I had applied were reset or gone. 2. The TV sends Dolby audio from the PS5 to my AVR, even though the PS5 is set to output LPCM. These issues aren’t covered in any reviews I’ve seen—you really have to own the TV to discover them.Watch H
That said, despite using the latest gen QD OLED panel from Samsung Display, Sony has decided against utilizing the full potential of the hardware. Full screen brightness remained kept at 250 nits, similar to the A95L, and HDRP brightness didn't go as high as other 2025 flagship OLEDs such as the Samsung S35F equipped with the same QD OLED panel.Watch R
The same goes for Sony — the 2023 Bravia models are still better than the new Bravia 8 II from 2025. The new TVs coming out over the next few years aren’t really better; that’s mostly marketing. The focus now is cost‑cutting and energy efficiency, not picture quality.Watch R

I returned my Bravia 8 II for this very reason. What surprises me most is how little attention this gets. Consumer expectations seem to have collapsed: people accept severe DSE as “normal,” and now we’re looking at flagship Sony QD-OLEDs that lose much of their performance in just a few years—and hardly anyone seems to care.Read T
