The new Lenovo Chromebook Plus 14 is the laptop Google has chosen to spearhead the next wave of Chromebook devices, and it's really not hard to see why. It's beautifully engineered with a gorgeous OLED screen and an exciting new Mediatek chipset. It's the first Chromebook Plus with a high-performance NPU to handle local AI workloads, and the chipset's integrated graphics processor is a big step up from anything we've seen on previous Chromebooks.Read E
In fact, the Chromebook Plus 14 Gen 10 is comfortably the fastest Chromebook that we’ve tested. In Geekbench 6 it scored 2,566 for single-core performance and 8,087 for multi-core. Our previous fastest Chromebook in this benchmark, the Acer Chromebook Plus Spin 714, scored 1,889 and 6,651, and that was with a 10-core Intel Core i5-1335U.Read

If you’ve been looking for a high-end Chromebook, the Lenovo Chromebook Plus 14 is totally worth your consideration—it’s a big step up from the usual budget fare. It’s got a 14-inch 1920×1200 OLED touchscreen and the colors really pop. The model we tested came loaded with 16GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS storage, so it handles a ton of tabs, Docs, YouTube, whatever you throw at it. And the MediaTek Kompanio Ultra 910 chip (plus a tiny Neural Processing Unit) makes everything feel snappy.Read N
Lenovo officially claims a runtime of up to 17 hours for the Chromebook Plus 14 (14M9610). In our own Wi-Fi web surfing test, conducted at an adjusted display brightness, the device lasted for an impressive 15+ hours. This result is even more remarkable considering our review unit had been used previously, suggesting its battery may have already experienced some wear.Read T
I know the news broke recently about Android and Chrome OS “combining” into a single platform , and make no mistake about it, the $649 Chromebook Plus 14 should be at the front of the line for this. It’s easily one of the best laptops I’ve used all year, and a fantastic notebook for college students .Read M
Put simply, the Lenovo Chromebook Plus 14 is a lightweight laptop boasting stellar battery life, impressive performance, and a fanless design that borderline rivals that of the MacBook Air . Especially for commuters, this is a Chromebook you’ll want to keep on your short list.Read

If there wasn’t a Lenovo Logo on this Chromebook’s lid, you’d think it was made by Google. There really is everything a Chrome OS die-hard could ask from a 2025 Pixelbook revival here, including a price that makes other high-ticket Chromebooks seem well off the mark. A Samsung Galaxy Chromebook Plus might have a larger screen and more connectivity as standard, but I prefer the Lenovo’s more compact chassis – and its speakers are in a league of their own. For sheer value, few Windows-powered rivals come close.Read C
When I reach for the Lenovo Chromebook Plus 14, I'm never let down. The entire experience is so wellcrafted, so refined, so enjoyable that I have no problem calling this the best overall Chromebook ever made. Starting at $649 for the 128 gig storage, 12 gig of RAM version with no touchWatch A
Beyond all that, the Lenovo Chromebook Plus 14 also gets the little details right. The aluminum design is sturdy, the keyboard feels nice, and the Dolby Atmos speakers are solid, too. Pricing for the Chromebook Plus 14 can vary wildly depending on when and where you buy it, but at the time of writing, Best Buy has it on sale for just $699 — an excellent price for a Chromebook of this caliber.Read C
It is the new Lenovo Chromebook Plus 14 in. And despite the kind of plain and simple naming of this device, it is packed full of all kinds of really great hardware. And it is a device that Lenovo and Google want to be the device that you recommend to people that are looking for a really nice high-end Chromebook Plus. And I think in a lot of ways they've nailed itWatch W
There's no Chromebook quite like the Lenovo Chromebook Plus 14 . Not since the days of the original Pixelbook has a piece of Chrome OS hardware come along that so wanted you to believe in the platform. The laptop chassis feels immaculately designed, and both the keyboard and touchpad are a joy to use.Read C Chrome Unboxed Chrome Unboxed · 275K subscribers · Apr 2026
When the clamshell Lenovo Chromebook Plus 14 arrived last year, I confidently called it the best Chromebook I had ever usedWatch N
When the Lenovo Chromebook Plus 14 arrived, I quickly and confidently called it the best Chromebook I had ever used. It's a device that gets so many things right, but in my review, I noted that it was a traditional clamshell, and for those who love the flexibility of a 2-in-1, it might not be the perfect fit. Well, for those of you who have been waiting for a device with all the power and battery life of the Lenovo but in a convertible form factor, your wait is overWatch T
The Chromebook Plus 14-inch is one of the most expensive Chromebooks around, straying into Windows-laptop territory – and ChromeOS simply can’t compete with these machines in terms of sheer versatility.Read T Tech Live Tech Live · 19.2K subscribers · Dec 2025
This device is considered rare, at least from my point of view, and has the added bonus of a quick start-up in about 6 seconds, which means you are immediately, almost immediately, operational. It is a pleasure to write content, as with this test, with an average keyboard activation travel, neither too fast nor too long, which suits me quite well, and it is not very noisy, all in a backlit context. Note that the keyboard integrates the quick insert button and also the application launcher under the Google logo. The touchpad is proportionally generous to the screen size and I really find it to be the smoothest and most pleasant component to useWatch T

Finally, we've got to see the first ARMPowered Chromebook Plus, and it's this, the Lenovo Chromebook Plus 14 with the new MediaTek Companio Ultra 910 processor. How many tabs is too many tabs? Turns out the Lenovo Chromebook Plus 14” powered by @Arm can handle way more chaos than I can. Check out the link in my bio to learn more!View post M
This one is special for a number of reasons, including the fact it's the first ARM processorbased Chromebook Plus powered by the MediaTek Companio Ultra 910 processor, another first. We've known since the Google Chromebook showcase back in June that this was set to be a special device and that Lenovo and Google have worked closely together putting some real thought into it.Watch F

It's the low spec option of the Lenovo Chromebook plus 14. I picked it up over the Black Friday period last year for what I believe was a bit of a bargain. I'll tell you how much I paid later on in the video. I've already unboxed and reviewed the higher spec option of this model on the channel. I'll link you to those videos at the end of this one.Watch M
Thanks for a great review of a very compelling Chromebook offering 👍 Come Black Friday I will be watching availability and pricing with much interest.Watch T

Here's a friendly overview of the Lenovo Chromebook Plus 14-inch. I share my impressions after nearly a month, describing it as the “MacBook Air of Chromebooks.” I go over its specs—fanless design, lightweight build, OLED screen, glass trackpad, up to 1440p webcam, and 256GB storage—and mention that I have the higher-tier model with 16GB RAM. Lenovo's Chromebook Plus 14 is one of the fastest, nicest Chromebooks we've tested, merging a gorgeous OLED display, solid build quality, and a comfy keyboard with capable, NPU-powered on-device AI. But its luxury-laptop pricing undercuts the biggest advantage of ChromeOS: affordability.Read T
Looks good in a lot of ways but here are a few things that put me off this. No 1 is soldered storage. I really want an MVNe drive for upgradability. No 2 It needs more ports. Unneeded minimalism at the cost of usability.Watch C
