La Kobo Elipsa 2E est bien plus qu'une simple liseuse ; c'est un véritable outil de création et d'imagination qui permet à la fois de lire, d'écrire et de prendre des notes avec une aisance déconcertante.

I started reading on the Kobo Elipsa 2E right away and found it comfortable, easy on the eyes and I really enjoyed the larger page size. Turning pages is as easy as swiping across the screen or tapping the edge of the page. I will note that, like some other dedicated the readers, there is a flash-like effect when the pages turn; it lasts a split second, but is noticeable, particularly early on. I can confirm, though that after reading for a while, I stopped noticing it

Honestly, best purchase I’ve made. I read tons of PDFs for work and wanted something easier on the eyes than an iPad. After tons of research (Kindle, ReMarkable, Boox) I went with the Elipsa 2E. And yeah it’s a bit dated, but two months in and I love it. The 227 ppi doesn’t bother me, and I use it for books too.

Um, so far I do like this device. I think it would be great for when I'm reading long books like Priory of the Orange Tree. I think it would help read the book faster

The main downside of the Kobo Elipsa 2E, and any writable e-reader available right now, is its hefty price.

The Kobo Elipsa 2E offers a similar stylus-driven reader experience, with a slightly larger 10.3-inch e-ink display. It's great for annotating and highlighting passages in your ebooks, while performance and battery life are also respectable. That said, the Kindle Scribe offers a larger online catalogue and also boasts a bigger battery than the Kobo Elipsa 2E.

However, when you compare the Elipsa 2E to other devices, like the reMarkable Paper Pro, it really does lose almost any advantage it once had. I mean, where to start? The Paper Pro gives one so many options to mark up a PDF page, and in color, at that, even allowing one to move annotations around the page, and resize them, and still gives users an option to export these marked-up PDFs off the device via USB-C. Having said that, there are still some ways in which the Elipsa 2E still does hold up very well in the current e-reader market. As an e-book reader, the Elipsa 2E still excels
