The GreenPan Frost Ice Cream and Frozen Treat Maker is my best purchase in 2025. I dare even say, it’s the best ice cream maker I’ve ever purchased. It’s extremely versatile as you can make more than just soft serve, but also sorbets, milkshakes, smoothies, and even slushies! Our favorite slushie is just pouring some fresh apple cider in and making apple cider slush!

I love the look of the GreenPan Frost Soft Serve & Frozen Drinks Maker. It looks similar to a traditional slushie maker, and has a lever at the front for dispensing your frozen creations. A screen and controls are at the front, but my favourite part of the design is the circular holder on the side which you can use to store ice cream cones!

The results were consistently excellent. Using my standard ice cream recipe, the GreenPan produced smooth, creamy ice cream with a rich texture that was noticeably superior to the grainier results I experienced with, say, the Ninja Creami Scoop & Swirl. It also handled plain Greek yoghurt brilliantly.

Now, Greenpan has released a really interesting and compelling slushi and frozen drink machine called the Greenpan Frost, and it can not only do drinks, but it's made for soft serve ice cream as well! This might be the next big thing, and may put serious pressure on Ninja Kitchen to come out with something new. We can't decide that for you, but at least you can see what you get for your money and get a quick demo to boot in this unboxing video!

The Greenpan Frost is a frozen drink and ice cream maker. Within one hour you can be enjoying your favourite frozen treat, which is smooth and perfectly formed. I found it really easy to set up and use, but cleaning up was a bit of an operation. And whilst it is a compact design, it does still take up space on the kitchen worktop - which will become more noticeable if this appliance gets seldom use.

It has been amazing and we love it but tonight it stopped freezing soft serve ice cream. It did end up freezing but it took a long time and was over churned. We used the same exact vanilla ice cream recipe in the book provided every time. We purchased it from kohls and plan on returning it tomorrow so wish us luck!

Our test batch of frosé was restaurant-quality, smooth and consistent in texture, fully frozen but with no ice bits. On the downside, the Frost is quite expensive and can’t make traditional non–soft serve ice cream.

Deze zelfvriezende GreenPan FROST maakt veel ijs in één keer, is makkelijk te bedienen en kan ook slushies, maar kost nu meer dan de functionaliteit echt rechtvaardigt.
