The most expensive Denon Home model, outclassed by the Sonos Era 300 and JBL Authentics 500, which deliver more capable, more current smart platforms; paying Denon's premium for the top of a line whose smart features have stagnated is the definition of outclassed.

If the Home 600 has an Achilles heel, it’s its price. You’ve been able to pick up a pair of Sonos Era 300s (on sale) for under $800, and having two speakers spaced apart will get you better stereo separation and Dolby Atmos performance than any single speaker could. Similarly, a pair of Apple’s HomePod 2 speakers will set you back $600 at full price and have historically been a little over $500 on sale. That said, Denon’s Home 600 is a single-speaker set-it-and-forget-it audio system with more built-in inputs than either of those. The Home 600 is the most exciting wireless speaker I’ve seen in 2026 so far, and it’d take a lot to knock it off the throne.Read A
Denon's new Home 200, 400 & 600 have landed and they're the biggest upgrade the lineup has ever seen. Real Dolby Atmos Music, HEOS multi-room, and a flagship 600 with dual built-in subwoofers. We broke down every model so you know exactly which one fits your space.Watch E
For those looking for a more elevated listening experience beyond the 200 and 400, the Denon Home 600 sits at the top of the lineup. As the flagship model, it features dual opposing 6.5 inch woofers, along with two tweeters, two midrange drivers, and two upfiring drivers, all powered by eight Class D amplifiers. This configuration allows it to deliver deeper, more authoritative bass from its integrated subwoofer system while also expanding scale and detail across the soundstage. The Home 600 measures 17.7 x 9.88 x 8.9 inches and weighs 17.6 pounds.Read C
Denon gives you great sound and elegant design with their Denon Home 200, 400, and 600 powered speakers. They're part of Denon's HEOS whole-home system, so you can stream in high-res and control all of them from the HEOS app.Watch A
Although I thought the Home 400 was a competent performer which exhibited plenty of musical detail and a spacious soundstage, the Home 600 moves the needle a bit further. So much so that not only could the speaker cast an incredibly wide sidewall-hitting stereo image, but the height element in Dolby Atmos music selections was highly accomplished. The Denon feels like a genuinely premium device...Read A
Best of all, they all sound great, but they do get better as you move up. The 200's going to be the entry point here, and it has a simple, clean design that fits into any type of home decor.Watch E
As the largest of the new Home speakers, the 600 is the loudest and most powerful, but that doesn't come at the expense of clarity. There's an obvious emphasis on vocal precision in the mix, which means the words clearly cut through even the most chaotic of genres. Johnny Franck's clean choruses float above the drums, guitars and other instruments on Bilmuri's "TWICE," for example.Read S

Not only does the Denon Home 600 sound mighty, but its looks also stand apart thanks to a metallic grille with machined holes, instead of the stretched fabric finish of the Home 400 model. Both look elegant, but in the 600 it's clear where your extra cash is going.Read V

Actually using the buttons was less than ideal, however. I couldn’t find a place in the Heos app to directly configure the buttons. Instead, you’re supposed to play something and then press and hold a button until the light on the speaker blinks.Read S
