The Fenix PD35 V3.0 Flashlight is destined to continue to be one of Fenix’s most popular models. With vastly improved performance, the new PD35 V3.0 can blast an amazing 1700 lumens a total distance of 1171 ft (357 m). The PD35 V3.0 is powered by a single 18650 rechargeable battery (included), or can operate on two disposable CR123A’s.

So, overall construction, as you can see here, fantastic. Both of them have that high-quality machining and anodizing. A little bit on the shiny end, and I think Nitecore's uh anodizing is a little bit shinier than the Fenix. If we look at the overall design, you can see there's a lot more of an aggressive design coming across with the Nitecore MH12 SE.

The PD35 has been around long enough to earn its reputation, and the v3.0 keeps it alive with a real bump in performance. It’s a palm-sized 18650 light pushing 1700 lumens and throwing nearly 400 yards—which is absurd for something just over five inches long.

And one thing I really enjoy is that it comes with a nylon belt holster branded with Fenix's logo, of course. You know me, I'm a big fan of branding so that's pretty cool. And here's the flashlight itself. So, slightly different than the previous model PD35. There it is right there. Tactical. Does have a really nice glass lens and um anti-reflective coating on it as well.

We can therefore recommend it not only for all outdoor enthusiasts, but it will certainly find use in security forces and hunting.

And I would definitely recommend the new one, PD35 version 2. I'm going to be putting this one in my tool pouch. I'm kind of excited to use it. I'm going to retire this one to my truck.

I reach for the PD35 on nights when I need a dependable mix of throw and flood. It just works, without drama or guesswork.
