I would not sell a dye ink print, hence the reason for the 4100, but I get a lot of use out of the Pro-100. All of that only to say that progressively larger printers require a progressively larger commitment to printing. And the novelty might wear off after a few months.Read I

My Pro 100 had finally developed some printhead issues that I've not been able to clear up. Some banding in a channel and there is now a faint, continuous scratch that appears on every sheet that comes out. So I'm assuming the printhead is shot? I have not tried the Windex soak or anything like that, just the built-in cleaning options.Read C
This is a horrible printer. I forgot to mention, the print quality is actually very good, but that doesn't matter because you'll be buying new ink constantly. I use this lately just to print b\u0026w shipping labels for ebay items, but it runs out of all the color inks just by turning it on. 4 sets of ink later, when this ink set is done, so am I with this printer. What a piece of junk! P.S.Watch P
You samples are horrendous. The first thing I'd say is your line screens don't seem to be set up correctly, but beyond that, your prints are washed out and you have a ton of banding. I wouldn't consider any of those prints sellable where I work.Read J
An individual with a Pro-100 from Canon using Precision Colors inks was complaining that in about 2 months of displaying a photo unprotected on his wall facing north, the north side of the house, that the prints are fading, fading rapidly, and that he was using Pro Luster from Canon, and it still was causing print fade.Watch D
Now, the printing is smeared. Not good. The gray and Blk test are totally blank.Read F
