They both are great printers for if you are looking for a professional at home printer, whilst both more expensive than say a Canon Pixma, if you're looking for something to invest in, then a printer like this is a good one. The amount of printing I got out of my Pro-1000 over six years was a lot!

I have the PRO-310 and it's easily the most consistent pigment printer I've used. Nozzle switching works as advertised, and the Chroma Optimizer really helps with gloss papers. It finally feels like pigment printing without the usual headaches.
