170 LP on the
category ladder
what's LP?
A 2021 design sold at a 2025 price: no wireless charging, no multipoint, dated ANC, and Lightning-era thinking. If you want secure-fit Apple buds, the AirPods Pro 3 with the right tip does the job far better.

I have one of my all-time favorite products here to talk to you about today, and that is the Beats Fit Pro. I recently got these after doing a ton of research on earbuds that I can use for running because whenever I do exercise, which is not as often as it should be, I like to have an earbud that stays in my ear.Watch N

Your microphone will automatically connect to your phone call as soon as you answer it. Man, I just really love the Beats red logo. Let's open these bad boys up. I'm afraid to take these out the case cuz I'm about to have a hard time putting them back in. The wing tip feels extremely soft. Let me fix this focus real quick.Watch K
But man, these look super dope as a workout earbud. And if you don't have trouble with earbuds falling out of your ear, these are probably going to be a really good option for you. But let's just get into it. Man, I've already unboxed this. I already know what they look like. But if y'all haven't, let's check it out. You got that nice black box. One thing I like is how they just kind of snap right into place where they need to go to go inside the charge case. I really like that. Does have a little button here on the side for playing and pausing your music, which is really easy to use. I have particularly small ears, so I've got the smallest attachments on there for my ears because I have really small ears.Watch J
I really love the color and these Beats TWS headphones (made in Vietnam) will surely make you stand out from the crowd when you're wearing them!Watch K

We recommend the Pro 2 if stability is of utmost importance, especially for hardcore activities where you need there to be zero chance of them falling out. However, there's still a place for the Fit Pro with their light design, comfortable fit and cheaper price.Read T
After a couple of hours of music playing, I have to take a break - which is a shame as battery life is solid. The Beats Fit Pro buds can last over six hours between charges, even with Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) switched on.Watch M
You can't beat the quick connectivity of the Beats Fit Pro. As an iOS user, you just have to open the case for the Beats Fit Pro to connect nearly instantly. Earbuds can be a tough fit, and our testers appreciated the multiple ear tip sizes and secure fit.Read R
They also have active noise cancelling (ANC), and while we had issues testing their noise isolation performance due to their skin sensor, they do a decent job of blocking out background noise around you. That said, not everyone will be a fan of their somewhat bulky bud shape and stability fin design.Watch C
While the Fit Pros held firm for all who reviewed them in our labs, the testers say that those with smaller ears might feel like the buds could come loose.Read D
There's not really a clear winner between these two because they both do what they do well, but there are some clear differences between them that may make you want to choose one over the other.Watch R
So, we wouldn't recommend buying the buds for this reason alone. In every other aspect, though, they're excellent.Read D
And then with the Beats Fit Pro, great security with their fins, but I was a little bit let down when it comes to the sound quality as wellWatch P
The jury is still out on whether they’re better than Beats Fit Pro for me, but for now, I’m fairly happy.Read M
A lot of people are calling the Beats Fit Pro the perfect budget AirPods Pro, and while they fill a lot of the same holes in my soul, their design doesn't fit me quite right. Beyond that, the earbuds sound phenomenal and their active noise-cancelling is top-notch. Plus, as you've likely already noticed, they come in pink.Watch S

The only issue with the beats fit pro is the case is not wireless charging capable. I wish they were and that would be an amazing upgrade if beats would do that for their earbuds. I have seen aftermarket cases on Amazon, but I am skeptical if they work well or not.Watch

I would not recommend the Powerbeats Fit to most people. These earbuds are four years newer than the Beats Fit Pro, and yet bring no meaningful upgrades. You are much better off looking for the Beats Fit Pro on sale or looking at other options on our list of the best workout earbuds .Read W

I HATED the Beats Fit Pro.Watch V
They might be the wrong buy right now because the exact features that make them popular come with hidden tradeoffs. The Wing Tips lock in the H1 chip makes pairing effortless. ANC sounds impressive on paper, but in real life, comfort fades after an hour.Watch
