There are multiple design and ergonomic similarities between the ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG27UCDM and the recently reviewed ROG Strix OLED XG27ACDNG , but it quickly becomes clear that the former is the more premium product—even before you turn it on. The base looks and feels more refined, and ASUS has integrated an unusual downward-facing lighting system into the stand, designed to illuminate the desk surface for a touch of added flair. If the very concept of such a feature makes you roll your eyes, you're probably not the target audience for the ROG Swift OLED PG27UCDM. The good news is that all the lighting elements, including the rear- and front-facing glowing ROG logos, can be completely disabled.Read T
With the ROG Swift OLED PG27UCDM set to Racing Mode, Uniform Brightness enabled, brightness maxed out, and a manual RGB adjustment of Red 94 / Green 98 / Blue 100, the panel's accuracy improves substantially compared to factory defaults. Gamut coverage remains expansive at 138.3% of sRGB (sitting well beyond the sRGB target, as expected from a native wide-gamut OLED), but the grayscale now measures superbly, with an average ΔE of just 1.1, a near-perfect gamma tracking average of 2.21, and a corrected white point at 6,590 K, much closer to the 6500 K reference than before.Read T
Whether the PG27UCDM will deliver on its HDR promises or fall into the same traps we've seen from earlier generations of OLEDs, such as black crush and aggressive ABL, remains to be seen. Considerations also include the practicalities: ergonomics, cooling design, input selection, and day-to-day usability for someone who might spend as much time working in front of the screen as they do gaming. These are the aspects we'll be examining in this review to determine whether ASUS has genuinely created a 27-inch OLED gaming monitor worth its hefty $1,199 price tag.Read T
On the rear, the ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG27UCDM features a fully-featured DisplayPort 2.1 UHBR20 (80 Gbps) input, two HDMI 2.1 (40 Gbps) input, and a USB-C (DP Alt Mode) input with 90 W of charging power.Read

The Asus PG27UCDM is about as close to perfection as we've seen in a mid-sized gaming monitor. Just keep in mind that to get good frame rates with a 4K monitor, you will want to pair it with a powerful rig equipped with a high-end GPU. In giving it an Editors' Choice award, the only things we dinged it for are an unsightly power brick and its slightly elevated price. With this Black Friday deal, Amazon has addressed the latter issue. It is selling the PG27UCDM for just A$1,450 , 31% off its original list price of $2,099. Now, Asus, about that power brick....Read 1

I'm watching this on my brand new PG27UCDM. It's pretty nice. Tim is looking good! I'm still fiddling with settings, and at first the proximity sensor kept shutting the monitor off so I have to wave at it to get it back on, though I fixed this by setting the time delay to 5 minutes instead of 1 minute and setting the distance to about 30cm beyond where I normally sit).Watch R
i own this, this an absolut bomb ! i am so happy with it ! it's perfect, it's exactly what i wanted : 27 QD-Oled 4K , i play on Xbox series X ! the only small flaw, my display is near a window, when there is lots of sun , i have to close a bit the curtains . I have the pg27ucdm and it is currently the best in qdoled, the dp 2.1 for me makes a difference not only in comfort but also in sensation when playing. It is not something that is easily seen because you have to look for it and with 2 monitors next to each other to notice, the main difference is the feeling when playing.Read thread C
I recently returned my PG27UCDM because for that price it was barely any different than my Dell U2720Q. Of course the blacks were deeper and the high refresh looked awesome, but besides that I found my older monitor to look virtually the same, if not better for clarity.Watch L

So, I finally bought this expensive 1000€ Asus OLED monitor (ROG SWIFT OLED PG27UCDM). And honestly, man. this thing kind of sucks if im beeing honest. Don't get me wrong, I get it's advantages for gaming. The black and the colors look cool when playing cyberpunk. But for literally anything else, it is completely unusable for me.Read thread L
