The Acer Swift 16 AI’s 1080p webcam produced a somewhat grainy picture. While you could get by with this in a video meeting, the webcam doesn’t shine in the way the display and trackpad do. If you want to look as good as possible in video meetings, you’ll want another laptop.Read N

With 4 P cores, 8 efficient cores and 4 low power efficient cores, this chip gives you all the single-core performance of the old Lunar Lake processors plus significantly better multi-core performance, and it actually fares better here than it did in the ultra-slim Expertbook Ultra, probably because Acer has given it a little more space, more cooling and a higher power thermal and power budget; it's no coincidence that the Swift 16 AI is louder when pushed than the Asus, and gets warmer underneath.Read M
Acer's new Swift 16 AI powered by Intel® Core™ Ultra processors (Series 2) is the pinnacle of value for Windows Laptops, finally giving Apple's MacBook Air a run for it's money!Watch P
For the light gaming, I ran the Acer Swift 16 AI through a Counter-Strike 2 benchmark – which ran surprisingly well considering the laptop isn’t really geared to gaming. At native 1800p, it might not be able to get a high framerate at very high settings, with an average of 34 FPS. But at medium with upscaling, that number increases to 98 FPS, and at low, it even jumps to 162 FPS.Read M
This is the brand new 2026 Acer Swift 16 AI and I got to go hands-on with it early. Acer did give me exclusive access to the Swift 16 and partner with me so I can show you what's new. And there's one feature here that generally surprised me because right off the bat, this laptop is rocking a series 3 Intel Core Ultra X9 processor, a brand new chip.Watch C
Acer sells three models of the Swift 16 AI, and my test model sits in the middle of the series. It costs $1,800 at Acer and features an Intel Core Ultra X7 358H CPU, 32GB of RAM, Intel Arc B390 graphics and a 1TB SSD. It’s based on a 16-inch OLED display with a 2,880×1,800-pixel resolution, smooth 120Hz refresh rate and touch support.Read M
Acer made some cuts to get here, but I think they made the right ones because this is the Acer Swift 16 AI.Watch E
Acer’s new laptop, the Swift 16 AI is an impressive machine. Not only does it have an impressive OLED touch display, but it also has the world’s largest haptic touchpad. It is good for a lot more than that though, with impressive specs and useful enhancements in its design.Read I

All right, so let me know what you think about the Acer Swift 16 AI here for 2026 running the Intel Core Ultra Series 3. Uh I'm liking this quite a bit. I think this is a really good proposition especially where prices are really high right nowWatch E
Big, lightweight 16in laptops seem to be all the rage right now, but this one is just a little bit special. First up, it has – so Acer claims at least – the “world’s largest haptic touchpad”.Read M

I have 2 Acer Swift 16 AI; the first I have purchase from ebay I received damaged; the bottom screen left screen was damaged and when I would turn the laptop screen would have larger line of colors and was going to return it but kept it, I later purchased the same model on amazon and it was delivery in top top shape no major deficiencies I couldn’t handle being a techno geek and the second one I use for my office space in my studio apartment.Watch E
The Acer Swift 16 AI arrives to take its place in the sun in a market of new notebooks with premium mid-range processors and lots of Artificial Intelligence.Watch J
I liked the screen for a glossy model (in the latest version, the older version had a lot if screen wobble while typing) and how light it was but I noticed the keyboard was a bit warm even while doing nothing but showing the desktop. For me that was a dealbreaker but I hope Acer can fix for the next version because it has the bones of a nice laptop.Watch J
Anyway, if those issues don't bother you, you're getting a lot of laptop for your money here with the Swift, especially when it goes on sale. And on that note, check out our website, bestlaptop.dealss.Watch P
In the benchmarks, Acer is near other models with similar specs, but falls under where it should be. The most obvious of which is the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Aura edition , which is very close to what Acer delivers in performance in the Swift 16 AI and even comes with the same MIL-STD-810H durability rating, even if the screen size is slightly smaller.Read Z
After spending time with the Acer Swift 16 AI, I honestly came away impressed. The display is excellent, the performance feels fast and responsive, battery life is reliable, and the overall experience genuinely feels more premium than the price suggests. But here is where the story changes. The moment you start expecting this to replace a true gaming laptop, that's where reality starts to kick in.Watch T
Eight Torx screws secure the Swift 16 AI’s bottom cover. Once removed, the only place to find purchase is along the display hinge, where I was able to wedge a plastic trim tool and pop the retainer clips. This took a lot more effort than I expected. I then worked up each edge until all the clips released, taking my time as to not break the clips.Read J
I'm really happy with my Swift 16 AI from last year (Core Ultra 2), and the haptic trackpad (with pen support!), touch screen, and improved performance really seems nice. But then, my laptop is not even a year old, so I'm definitely not upgrading. I am looking forward to future models though, Acer's pricing model has really convinced me.Watch S
I was also impressed that gaming – or heavy workloads of any kind – didn’t send the Swift 16 AI’s dual fans into a cacophony. They definitely spin up to a noticeable volume, but at a pitch that doesn’t instantly grate, and they’re undeniably effective. The chassis never got overly hot in any one area.Read Z
