I ended up coming back to the Wooting after using the rest because of its slick software. It's still my go-to Hall effect keyboard to this day. Our reviewer didn't come to the same conclusion, as Reece felt the plastic chassis wasn't quite as good as others around. I do agree there, but it doesn't bother me nearly as much, hence the recommendation here.Read T

Wooting has updated its best Hall effect gaming keyboard, the 80HE, with a slew of usability improvements in Wootility v5.1.0. The browser-based software now has support for debounce timing, to reduce any potential key chatter, and the RGB effects page has become much more usable.Read W
Well, this depends a lot on the user, but I would say that the 80HE is the best overall for both work and gaming use for the majority of people. It is a lot easier to use than the 60HE because you don't need to get familiar with using the function layer and make use of mod tap. And in fact, I've never used mod tap on my 80HE. For gamers, it depends on the games that they play.Watch K
For most people, I think the 80% layout is an excellent starting point—and the Wooting 80HE executes it very well. You get dedicated arrow keys, a full F-row, and useful navigation keys without the keyboard feeling oversized. For many users, this will be the sweet spot.Read S
The Wooting 80HE feels different immediately. The keyboard is absurdly responsive, like your brain thinks move, and your character is already moving. I use this for everything from fast-paced shooters to long typing sessions, and the responsiveness never stopped being noticeable. The adjustable actuation means you can set keys to trigger at ridiculously shallow presses.Watch E
Its gasket mount, updated switches and extra sound-dampening material make it more pleasant-sounding and comfier for typing out of the box. Plus, while the 60HE+ can only rest at one fixed angle, the 80HE comes with a few sets of removable feet.Read I
I hecking love 10ens, so I bought the 10's Wooting 80HE edition. This is Wooding's latest keyboard. Aside from their Wooding 68V2, it is a basically an upgraded Wooting ADHE with a black and red colorway essentially fit for 10. It also features these custom switches. We'll be diving in whether or not these are this keyboard's worth it for you.Watch W r/WootingKB u/Checkpoint-70 · owner
Wooting has a great track record of long-term software support and provides extra switches as well, and many third part switches are also available for hot swap. There’s no reason why a Wooting couldn’t last you as long or longer as your Razer.Read thread Y

So in short: is this board ‘better’ than the regular version? The answer is twofold. In terms of sound: yes, definitely. In terms of overall feel, it heavily depends on your preferences. If you like light switches and a pretty stiff typing experience, then this is without a doubt better. If you don’t, then you might be better off sticking to the regular version.Read E
A: For gaming, 75% is excellent. For office work, losing the numpad matters if you do heavy data entry. The function row is present which covers most productivity shortcuts. If you switch between gaming and spreadsheet-heavy work, consider whether you need a numpad - it's the main tradeoff with this layout.Read M
The 80HE ships with a braided USB-C cable (C-to-C plus a C-to-A adapter), and features N-key rollover, per-key RGB, and the full Wootility feature set. The module-only version fits the KBDfans GT-80 and bone80 cases — two of very few aftermarket options that accommodate Wooting's non-standard PCB layout.Read W

I tried to make a layer to use as numpad with the wooting and it didn't work for me, as the normal letter keys are not symmetrical as the numpads are, it was mistake after mistake, so I ended just purchasing a numpad mini-keyboard, a magicforce mf34, which has worked pretty fine for now to complement the wooting 80he, in fact, better than a keyboard with one attached as I find it much better to haRead L
Wooting 80HE needed mod due to gasket. They're doing double-gasket now for new smaller v2 board hah. They also have that friction fit mod.Read
