Going to preface this review by saying that this is without a doubt, the most impressive keyboard that I have ever tested. The sound, performance and utility software are all absolutely unmatched when it comes to competitive advantage and overall feel. It all feels polished and refined. I don't have one genuine bad thing to say when it comes to this keyboard.

That collaboration is ongoing and I still think it's the cleanest keyboard in the world. Now, if you have no idea what a Wooting or an analog keyboard is and why everyone has switched to them, including all of the pro players out there, let me give you a quick explainer. These keyboards use magnetic switches with a sensor underneath.

The Wooting 60HE v2 is a notable improvement from its older sibling. It perfects the split keyboard layout through the use of Mod Tap, its new acoustic options are a delight for the ears, and it features the excellent Wooting software support that I adore. If this is the blueprint for Wooting’s v2 keyboards, I cannot wait for what’s next.

Seems like they've addressed every bit of feedback they've received over the past 3 years, and I think they managed to pull off something I didn't think was possible. This is my personal build of the 60. Nearly everything has been swapped out or upgraded as I chase down my perfect sounding feeling looking build. But for the V2, Woody wanted to deliver an out-of-the-box experience that you wouldn't

'None are good enough to dethrone the 60HE v2, but if you're on a tighter budget, then there are plenty of more affordable options now,' Warren observed. The competitive pressure shows - this v2 feels like Wooting's response to an increasingly crowded market.

The aluminum case has a real weight to it. Not heavy, but solid. The moment you pick it up, it feels premium. The rounded edges on the bottom make it surprisingly nice to handle, which is a small detail, but those small details start to add up over time into something great. The strap on the side is still here.

The Wooting 60HE v2, to me, sounds and feels really good to type on. The stabilizers work perfectly and aren’t very rattly at all, the switches themselves (as I mentioned before) sound good, and there’s no case ping or other unwanted noises when typing.

And I gotta say, I'm pretty impressed with how good the second version sounds straight out of the box. It's a bit muted, but compare that to the stock 60HE. I think I even prefer it over the fully loaded config of the first version.

The Wooting 60HE v2 does everything right. It takes the already excellent v1 and massively improves the typing experience with better materials and a new mounting method, all while maintaining an affordable entry option that will surely please gamers.

This is an improvement of the original 60HE. You're getting improved out of the-box acoustics and build, new switches, faster internal polling rate, and it's pretty much a polish of the original 60HE. Here's the pricing on the 60HEV2. You can either get it pre-built or you can get just the module if you want to use your own cases and switches.

It looks so good. Look at this side profile and this front profile. this like carbon fiber here. Looks so cool, bro. As well as the back here. It does stick to the theme very, very well. Very clean. I got the all black design with the transparent key caps, but you can also get it in dark purple or silver blade. RS will definitely be personal preference and depends on your setup which you'd prefer.

If I describe it, it's like creamy, but yeah, definitely better than the V1. There is some deep sounds as well. You can definitely tell they made a lot of efforts in making this keyboard sound good.

So, the Wuing 60HEG++ is probably the best pre-built gaming and office productivity keyboard on the market. Now, yes, I know a lot of people were disappointed by the lack of the 80% layout. People really cared about having arrow keys and a home and end and delete and all that stuff. And trust me, I was in the same boat as you.

The one thing I really do like about the layout of this keyboard is the front of this. The height of it does sit quite a bit lower and that's something that I do prefer. I feel like it's just easier to access the keys and everything just about the use of this case is very comfortable. This time around it does have a full aluminum case which I'm a huge fan of. Now, after spending time with it and reading what the V1 is all about, I think the answer is yes, but not in the most way people would expect. Because from a pure performance standpoint, the original one, the V1 60HE, was already one of the fastest gaming keyboards on the market. With the rapid trigger, adjustable actuation, the Wootility software, it's already dialed in.

One of the first things that I noticed is how differently it feels and sounds to the Wooting 80 and I was immediately a fan. The switches bounce back much easier and feel so much smoother than that of the older models. And the brand new Leer ticken switches in my opinion feel and sound perfect right out of the box which is very rare for a keyboard. Let's talk about sound.

Unlike traditional mechanical switches, these allow you to control how far a key is pressed and adjust actuation points with extreme precision. This means you can set shallow presses for faster reactions or deeper presses for more deliberate inputs depending on your playstyle. It gives you a level of control that standard keyboards simply don't offer.

I highly suggest you get the split space bar. I got to try out this version and this is going to be the best way to use this board. The reason being certain games have like the F rows that you need to use and in general there's certain things that you can use with it as well as when you're typing usually have one hand on the keyboard at least if you're using a mouse on the right hand.

Just a word of friendly advice…If you are struggling to buy food and clothes if you buy a new keyboard, I highly recommend you buy a used Wooting 60HE on eBay for a fraction of the cost. There isn’t a huge difference between V1 & V2. The updates aren’t worth putting yourself in a bad place. Put aside a small amount of money every month to go towards your keyboard fund.

I do believe it is an excellent gaming keyboard, even though it's a bit on the pricier side, but I do still stand with what I said two months ago with this keyboard, and that it's a little boring. Don't get me wrong, I do think the Wooting 60HE is a great gaming keyboard, but not a premium keyboard. Also, it could have better stabilizers.

However, if you're a keyboard enthusiast, you start to notice a few very small things. Switches: First, the new lekker tikkens switches. Put simply, they're mostly great, smooth, closed bottom, and full 4mm travel distance. But there is STILL a noticeable stem wobble. Not as bad as Wooting's preview switches, but the wobble is still there.

Okay, with the launch of the new V2, should you be buying this? Well, yes and no. Let me just like cut right to the chase. If you already have the 68 Plus, you don't really need to. For the most part, you can just upgrade some of the components on your 68 and you're like 90% there to the V2. If you don't yet and you want a wooding, then yes, the 68V2 is the clear choice.

Right from opening the box, you can tell Wuing want to deliver a more complete product than the first generation. So, stab replacement not really worth it. It's just a side grade. Only do it if you have a clear preference of some aftermarket stabs. For the stabilizers, there is however another mod that depending on your choice of switches will have a greater impact. The Zeal stem spacers.

All these features are nice, but the main reason I upgraded is the new split space bar. I really like how good they are with the details. Here they plan to make the unboxing Apple-like, I guess, but I'm simple guy. Here is additional foam layer, just in case you want to use traditional tray mount. And the disappointment of the evening, a black cable.
