Is the WinkBed Luxury Firm good for side sleepers? Yes, with some caveats. The Luxury Firm's medium-firm feel (6.5 out of 10) sits in the sweet spot for most side sleepers — firm enough to keep the spine aligned, cushioned enough to relieve pressure at the shoulders and hips. In our testing, Schweitzer — a primary side sleeper — gave it a perfect 5 out of 5, and Consumer Reports rated it highly in this category too.Read U
I did feel a considerable amount of strain on my stomach as it felt like my head was pressing too far upward and so my neck was out of alignment. When we unboxed The WinkBed we did feel an initial cooling feeling on the surface however, that tends to dissipate within a few minutes so I wouldn't count on that to be a prime source of cooling as you sleep. Though, The WinkBed is a hybrid mattress so if you do tend to sleep hotter than normal this mattress should dissipate heat because there's a lot of airflow through those coils and that will allow the heat from your body to sort of exit the mattress.Watch I Instagram Instagram post
But it may not be the best match if you’re a strict side sleeper who wants deep pressure relief at the shoulders and hips.View post
