This model is a game-changer for the freestanding outdoor grill. It's built to last with stainless steel construction that can handle both time and weather, keeping its sleek look for years. The high-performance burners deliver consistent heat across the entire surface, so you can say goodbye to cold spots and hello to perfectly cooked burgers every time.

This design kept flare ups under control well when grilling these burgers. Napoleon’s dual level design provides coverage directly over each burner, as well as a second layer in between each burner. This adds to the likelihood drippings will be vaporized back to the grilling surface as flavorful smoke. The Rogue series features stainless steel tube style burners.

I've always been impressed by the Weber Spirit E-425 gas grill for its reliable performance during backyard cookouts. The four Boost burners deliver even heat distribution, letting me sear steaks perfectly or slowly smoke ribs without flare-ups.

Everything turned out uh just fine as you would hope it would. But when this comes to the sear zone here, you've got these uh your controls here. And in order to put it on the sear zone and they're saying this gets 40% more flame on this and we kind of saw that yesterday and that the uh stainless steel flavorizer bars, that's those things in there if you can see them.

Choose the Weber Spirit E-425 if you want the most refined cooking performance, outstanding heat consistency, premium build quality, and long-term reliability. Choose the Napoleon Freestyle 425 if you're looking for the best value, fast heat up times, and excellent grilling performance while spending a little less. At the end of the day, both are fantastic four-burner gas grills.

The Fire Magic E790I and Weber Spirit E-425 are great examples of having control over heat and being long-lasting, but they tend to be more expensive.

The Weber Spirit E-425 is the better overall value because it delivers the important cooking features without pushing the price as high. While the Spirit EP-425 is the better choice for buyers who care more about premium finishes and upgraded convenience features. The Weber Spirit E-425 gets an overall price-to-performance rating of A, while the EP-425 gets it.

I was seeing the needle pass 500° F after about 101 12 minutes with everything on high, which is right where I want to be for a serious sear. Dropping cold steaks on the porcelain enameled cast iron grates didn't kill the heat. They hissed. The crust set quickly, and when I flipped, the grill recovered without that frustrating stall where meat starts steaming instead of grilling.

The heat comes on fast and even, and that center sear zone absolutely brings the steakhouse style crust when I want it. From my experience, assembly wasn't complicated. Just time-consuming. Plan on around 90 minutes if you're handy and have a second set of hands for the heavy cook box. The cart goes together cleanly, the panels line up, and Weber's pictorial instructions are clear.

It reaches serious searing heat fast and holds that heat when cold food hits the grates. So, I get that deep brown crust without the stall or the steam. I would put this in the liquid propane backyard grill category with real zone control.
