The Anti-RBE tech was first introduced with Valerion’s flagship VisionMaster Max , where it was designed to tackle one of DLP projection’s most talked-about drawbacks. While Valerion says around 60% of viewers barely notice rainbow artefacts, the remaining 40% can find them uncomfortable, especially during fast motion or high-contrast scenes. Valerion’s solution combines a higher refresh rate with advanced image processing that blends colour sequences at speeds imperceptible to the human eye. The result is a smoother, more unified image that effectively removes rainbow flashes without sacrificing brightness, clarity or motion sharpness. It also reduces eye strain during longer viewing sessions.

So, Valeron is back with a stunning 4K laser projector here. They're throwing all of their tech into the Max model. So, the Vision Master Max is their absolute top end. This is their flagship here, and it's an expensive model. Brightness goes up to 3500 ISO lumens. It has an iris that's adjustable in there, which has six different levels.

If you’ve got a wall and want it to stop behaving like a wall, you want the Valerion VisionMaster Max projector. This is not a humble movie-night accessory. This is a full-blown game-changer, the kind of projector that can turn the right space into a screening room, a sports bar, an ultra-indulgent place to plug in a game controller. It aggressively refuses to compromise. It looks upscale, acts upscale, but is currently being offered at a somewhat more approachable price thanks to Amazon Prime’s Big Spring Sale, if you act fast.

This is the Valyrian Vision Master Max, and it's been one of the most anticipated high-end 4K projectors to come out on the market for enthusiasts that have been following its journey because it broke the record for the highest funded projector in crowdfunding history last year on Kickstarter. So, I'm going to find out if it lives up to the hype. I'll unbox it.

🎉 imo, the Max/vision master is a real game changer for those that wouldn’t ever consider a projector! 🎉 Btw, pleeeeease don’t compromise on the “couch against the back wall”! If not doing HT chairs like Audio advice revelation etc, at least put a “behind the couch” style table to create some space. 🎉 Also, that ledge in the back looks kinda interesting to mount the rear atmos speakers.

The Valerion VisionMaster Max is easily the best projector that I've reviewed on the channel so far! The VisionMaster Pro 2 was good but the Max takes it to another level!

I honestly thought I was done with TVs when I replaced my 8K set with the Valerion VisionMaster Pro 2. Now Valerion is back with the VisionMaster MAX! A 4K RGB triple-laser projector with 3,500 ISO lumens, up to 110% Rec.2020 colour gamut, support for Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and IMAX Enhanced, plus HDMI 2.1 for low-latency gaming.

I’m so excited to buy this projector and build an entire home theater around it. I couldn’t have gotten into the hobby without this price point. I have an 83 oled and it’s too bright. I tested a 120 screen with this projector and zero eye strain. I do wish the refresh rate was higher for better motion but overall this little box made my dream of a home cinema come true.

The VisionMaster Max positions itself as a premium lifestyle projector, but it pushes well beyond the category with features like interchangeable lenses, strong RGB laser brightness, and surprisingly good black levels for a DLP.

I am a very happy VisionMaster Max owner. The projector has exceeded my expectations with its image quality, HDR performance, and overall viewing experience. What impressed me just as much was Valerion's customer support. They took the time to read my feedback, provided thoughtful responses, and showed genuine interest in improving the product through future updates.

I get the feeling that an 83-inch OLED G5 or similar is relatively blurry compared to a projector like the Valerion Visionmaster Max. So, to get the most out of an 83-inch OLED, you have to sit closer, but that causes significant blurring. With the Valerion Max, I can sit extremely close no matter what the screen size is, and it’s still sharp.

And in between the time it was announced to its imminent release, they have been taking their time tweaking it to make it a killer projector with some really cool features that you won't find in this price range. It's going right into my home theater, but before we can install it, we have to unbox and go over it. Stick around.

The Valerion VisionMaster Max is a 24-watt (12w x2) audio system that supports Dolby Atmos and DTS:X to deliver a more immersive sound. The projector can be paired with external sound systems via its HDMI eARC port and is the first projector I’ve reviewed to feature a gigabit Ethernet port.

Surprisingly, the Valerion VisionMaster Max outperformed expectations, showing better detail in dark scenes and a sharper overall image, all while costing less than the Epson LS12000. This comparison highlights how newer projector technology is challenging long-time home theater favorites.

The MAX is stunning, period. Even if you have nothing to do with projectors and simply spot it in a store window, its symmetrical design, with the 14 beautiful metal slats and the volcanic glass black lacquer surfaces , immediately draws your attention.

File the Valerion VisionMaster Max under "Pricey, and worth it," thanks to its high brightness, its excellent image quality, and the fact that you'll rarely—if ever—see the rainbow artifacts that most other DLP-based projectors tend to show.

I just received my Max and I'm a bit disappointed in the EBL feature. It seems to introduce a lot of laster pumping and even tries to make adjustments durning any particular shot that it is struggling to figure out. I feel like its biggest strength may also be its biggest weakness. Have you found any way to minimize this? If this is the way this is going to operate I don't think I can keep it.

It’s interesting that he’s so impacted by “RBE Reduction” noise. I’m assuming it must be a high pitch whine, as I sit directly below my ceiling mounted Max and have “RBE Reduction” enabled. I hear absolutely no whine at all! Perhaps at my age, it’s beyond my hearing range? But, being very RBE sensitive, the RBE Reduction is truely a breakthrough. It definitely solved RBE for me.
