The chair is amazing, I have never tired anything of such quality. Even the most expensive mesh chair from Staples pales in comparison. If you think of comparison, that will be something what Germans do with their cars manufacturing. The materials feel solid, there is nothing making rattle or noise, the cushion is comfortable enough and at the same time feels sturdy and responsive.

Initial impression, I think that it's very comfortable. Um, the arms move in and out, but also up and down. So, you can adjust it. So, you do up and down this way and this way. Then here you have the lumbar support. So you could adjust it up or down.

I especially liked your comments on the different seat pan designs on the Leap and the Gesture -- I agree with you that the fact that the Gesture has a seat pan that DOESN'T slide forward as you recline seems to be an advantage. If your butt slides forward as you recline, then your lower back is pulled away from the back of the chair -- the result is that your lower back is no longer supported.

I've had my Steelcase Gesture since 2021 and I used to really love it. Recently, however, my legs and specifically the back of my thighs have started to get pretty sore after sitting in it for only a short period. I'm pretty sure it's the design of the cushion and front of the seat that causes pressure. I've read the same critique from other reviews.

So it seems this chair is perfect if you're 6 feet tall. At 5' 8" i think i may be too short. Shame cos the only other chair I like better in styling and attributes is the embody, but it's the most expensive of all and ax reasonable number of people also don't seem to gel with it.
