Sole F63

If you can find a clean, well-maintained Sole F63 on the used market between $300 and $700 (depending on the generation), jump on it. While you won’t get a factory warranty, the F63’s heavy steel frame, 300+ lb weight limit, and robust 3.0 CHP motor make it far more durable than almost any brand-new $500 department-store treadmill you could buy. Just remember to do your physical inspection, test the deck for lubrication, and budget $30 for a fresh bottle of silicone lube to keep your bargain runner going for years to come.

Overall build quality, cushioning, and thoughtful home-friendly features give the Sole F63 a reputation as a dependable everyday training machine rather than a flimsy compact unit.

The Sole F63 is a treadmill that can work really well for a lot of people, especially seniors. The deck is generously sized at 20 inches by 60 inches, making it suitable for taller older adults with a longer stride. “Even if you’re not tall, I like a larger and wider deck on a treadmill for seniors so it isn’t akin to walking on a tightrope, which could cause a fall,” says Caroline Lubinsky, CF-L1. She rates the ergonomics with 4.5 out of 5 points thanks to the wide base, underfoot cushioning, and supportive handrails.

The Sole F63 stands out as the best folding treadmill because it strikes an unusually strong balance between build quality, performance and practicality - without forcing you into a bulky, permanent machine. Its assisted folding system genuinely makes it easier to fold and store than many other treadmills in this category, and the solid frame delivers a noticeably quieter, more stable feel underfoot - something users consistently praised when comparing it to other foldable models.

Overall, I think the Sole F63 has been easy to trust. It feels like a treadmill built for regular people who actually plan to use it, not just look at it. I've had a good experience with it for walking, running, incline work, and day-to-day home use, and it hasn't made simple things feel complicated. That's honestly a big part of why I've kept coming back to it.

It has a kick-release function that makes lifting, lowering and locking the treadmill into place practically effortless. And once folded, multiple wheels help you move this 224-pound treadmill into place.
