We have to go with our top choice here, the Secretlab TITAN Evo . It may be on the expensive side, but we think it's worth every penny. It's proven to have enough comfort and support to last a whole working day as well as into the evening for mammoth gaming sessions. Not only does it include all of the major adjustments you'll need from any chair, it's also got some finer tweaks that make all the difference to gamers (like the four-way lumbar support system). Recline, slip on a pair of the best gaming headsets and you'll be in a (virtual) world of your own.

Secretlab's new TITAN Evo 2022 series gaming chair is built like a tank and expensive, but it might be worth it.

The Secretlab Titan Evo review lands at 8.9/10 – a strong score that reflects what Secretlab gets right and stays honest about where the Lite model makes trade-offs. This chair is built for serious gamers, remote workers, and anyone who has burned through cheaper options that lost shape inside a year. If your priority is immediate plush softness or you only sit for an hour or two at a time, the Titan Evo’s cold-cure firmness is not the right match. For long sessions where support structure matters, it is the clear choice in its category.

The SecretLab Titan Evo is one of the better gaming chairs on the market. That is not a qualified compliment. The built-in lumbar system alone puts it ahead of 90% of gaming chairs that still rely on a removable pillow you will eventually stuff behind your couch. The build quality is legitimate. The materials will hold up. The 4D armrests actually adjust to meaningful positions instead of just wiggling around.

Even at four years old, Secretlab's 2022 Titan Evo stands as one of the best all-around gaming chairs. It's simply excellent, with rock-solid build quality, dense yet giving foam, and a variety of sizes and materials, including high-quality leatherette and sturdy fabric. Most notable is a two-knob internal lumbar support that lets you adjust the chair's height and firmness to hit your lower back just right.

It's made me more conscious of how I sit, given me a level of support that I hadn't realised I was missing, and somehow changed a habit that I'd had for as long as I can remember. The only real downside is that I'm now painfully aware of just how uncomfortable some of the other chairs in my life are. My driver's seat, in particular, has a lot to answer for.

The Titan Evo NanoGen is probably one of the most comfortable gaming chairs I've ever used, so I was hopeful the Atlas would be good. While it doesn't quite reach the same levels of NanoGen-clad comfort as the Titan Evo, the Atlas felt just as good leaning back with a controller as it did sitting upright typing out a review.

The Secretlab TITAN Evo is widely called the best gaming chair on the market, with reviewers praising its ergonomic support, durability, and customization. The TITAN Evo actually combines the best of the older TITAN and OMEGA models into one chair, coming in Small, Regular and XL sizes for a better fit.

Secretlab TITAN Evo chairs hold up for years with daily use, backed by a 5-year warranty and responsive customer service. Most owners report 3-6 years of solid performance, though some note firmness and armrest wear over time. Prices run around $500-$700 new, with used models selling for about $180.

Overall, these two chairs still feel like they're brand new to sit in. However, Secret Lab did upgrade their chairs back in 2022. They improved upon the PU leather they use on their chairs. They added a ton of new add-ons and customization options for their chairs. and they have come out with a handful of new products. For starters, Secret Lab has since stopped making the Omega version of their chairs, which I think is a good move, as the bucket style seats that racing style chairs used to predominantly come in, aren't very practical.

The standard Titan Evo comes with Seeker Lab's Neo Hybrid Leatherrett, which is 12 times stronger than their older Prime 2.0 leather. The Nanoen edition chair comes with Seeker Lab's most advanced leather, their Nanoen hybrid leatherrett, which is even softer and more durable than the Neoh Hybrid leatherrett found on the standard edition chair. And the light edition comes with Seeker Lab's older Prime 2.0 leatherrett. While the Prime 2.0 leatherrett is Seeker Lab's lowest in leather offering, I've owned two Seeker Lab chairs that feature this leather, and the leather is still in perfect condition on these chairs after 5 years of use.

I was worried about cracking or peeling or the black dulling, but seriously, a year in and it looks almost brand new. Look at this thing. It is incredibly clean. There's zero noticeable wear on the high contact areas like the seat edges of the armrest and any dust or minor marks. A quick wipe with a microfiber cloth is all that's needed.

They do a excellent job of packing this in the box. Everything is put in there perfectly and it's foam. Has like um special cut foam for all the pieces. Every Yeah. Everything is wrapped in plastic just so that there's no damage. Everything was carefully packaged and the outside of the box was scuffed up big time. There's all kinds of like marks and bumps and like holes in the box. But everything inside of it is perfect still.

I was so ready for the Secretlab Titan Evo NanoGen Edition to convert me into this brand’s number-one fan. As a chair reviewer, I always feel like an outcast when I admit that the Titan Evo isn’t my favorite pick. This new NanoGen version seemed primed to change that for me though, because it has the exact design philosophy I look for - a more plush approach to ergonomic support. While it is definitely the most comfortable variant of this brand’s flagship gaming chair, it still isn’t as comfortable as some of the other options out there that cost less.

Despite the small issues and the high cost of the SecretLab Titan Evo II chair, I’m still completely chuffed. I can work at the computer without pain, and my mother has been so comfortable while in the chair that she’s fallen asleep at the computer. With an RRP of €549, the Titan Evo isn’t cheap, but you do get a sturdy, high-quality chair in return. It also comes in three size variants, allowing buyers to match the chair to their body type. That said, the size-specific models can be inconvenient if the chair is shared among multiple people.

It ranks #1 of 19 on our gaming chairs tier list, in S tier. That placement draws on 63 cited sources across 49 outlets.

3 of the 62 sources with a clear view are critical of it: MTG Gaming, r/secretlab and Ty Tries Tech. Standard Hybrid Leatherette can peel at year 3 to 5 in hot climates.

On our gaming chairs board, Secretlab Titan Evo ranks #1 (S tier) ahead of Secretlab Titan Evo NanoGen Edition at #3 (A tier). Secretlab Titan Evo NanoGen Edition: compact but still ergonomic.

On our gaming chairs board, Secretlab Titan Evo ranks #1 (S tier) ahead of GTRacing GTWD-200 Pro Series at #17 (F tier). GTRacing GTWD-200 Pro Series: good build and comfort for mid-range.

Most people. It is the consensus reference chair across Wirecutter, PC Gamer, PCMag and The Guardian, with a steel frame, up to 5 years of warranty and the widest spare-parts ecosystem in gaming chairs, and it is the only S tier chair on our board. Buy something else in two cases. If you want a chair for a decade or more, the Herman Miller x Logitech G Embody's 12-year warranty and two-decade track record beat it on long-term ownership. If you are a larger user, the AndaSeat Kaiser 4's wide, flat seat is built for you.

The frame is steel and the warranty runs up to 5 years with the free social-share extension, so the structure is built for the long haul. The upholstery is the limit: the standard hybrid leatherette can peel at year 3 to 5 in hot climates. That single con is what keeps it out of the very top spot on long-term ownership, where the Herman Miller x Logitech G Embody leads.

Peeling leatherette is the only failure the research found. The standard hybrid leatherette can peel at year 3 to 5, and heat accelerates it, so owners in hot climates report it most. Nothing else shows a pattern: the steel frame and mechanism are not a complaint, and Secretlab's parts ecosystem means a worn component can be replaced rather than the whole chair.

Buy the Secretlab Titan Evo NanoGen Edition if you live somewhere hot or plan to keep the chair past year three, because its NanoGen upholstery is rated more durable and directly answers the peeling complaint. It shares the same frame and the same warranty. Buy the Secretlab Titan Evo if you want the consensus pick at the lower price, or if you prefer a material with years of field data behind it, since the NanoGen upholstery is still new.

Yes, and this is one of its strongest points. The Secretlab Titan Evo has the widest spare-parts ecosystem in gaming chairs, so armrests, casters, cylinders and upholstery components can be replaced individually. Among the chairs on our board only the Fractal Design Refine is noted for a comparable parts pipeline.
