What's more, this chair is superbly comfortable. Its convexly curved seat base and equally curved back properly support and cushion you, making this among the most comfortable gaming chairs for just sitting up straight at your desk. Its seat base length is also adjustable to suit different sizes of sitter, while its headrest is fixed to the chair but offers sliding height movement for reliable, adjustable support.Read A

With a rating of four, this chair stands out as an excellent option for users looking for a well-designed seating solution that delivers strong overall value. One of the biggest advantages of the Fractal Design Refine is its comfort-focused approach. The chair is designed to provide a comfortable experience for extended periods, making it a suitable choice for gaming setups, workspaces, or anyone who spends a significant amount of time sitting. Its appeal comes not just from being comfortable, but from the way it combines that comfort with several clever design elements that help it feel more refined than a basic gaming chair. The design itself is another major highlight.Watch O

They make noise, are hard to roll, and detract from my “enjoyment” of sitting in this thing. They’re nice for keeping you in the same spot without accidentally rolling around, but that’s about it. Likely a chair mat or a hard surface would alleviate some of these issues, but my ergonomic chair has no problem rolling around with zero noise or rolling friction, so this is disappointing. Thankfully they’re not a proprietary attachment, so I can get roller blade wheel lookalikes for $25 online.Read E
Its not a bad chair by any means. A $600 chair should have better build quality though. Hope everyone enjoys the review.Watch B
A: It’s a real alternative. The Refine wins on its adjustable lumbar and memory foam headrest, and matches the Titan on build and adjustability. Both share the same weakness, a firm seat.Read P
It looks great and is made from high-quality, comfortable material. It's also super easy to build. However, its base is a tad narrow, and the armrests are not fit for purpose.Read
Frequently asked questions
It ranks #4 of 19 on our gaming chairs tier list, in B tier. That placement draws on 12 independent outlets.
None of the 12 sources with a clear view is critical of it. Lacks the Embody's decades of field history.
Buyers who want premium materials without leatherette and without the Herman Miller x Logitech G Embody's price. It offers mesh or fabric with no PU to flake, a glass-fibre reinforced frame, a 5-year-warranty-class support operation with a real parts pipeline, and it has the best materials per dollar of the mid-premium tier. Its only knock is a short field history. If you want a chair with decades of proof behind it, the Embody is the answer, and if you want the consensus pick, the Secretlab Titan Evo ranks above it on our board.
Nobody can say from owner data yet, which is the one con recorded against it: it lacks the Herman Miller x Logitech G Embody's decades of field history. What it does have is a design that avoids the category's usual failure, since mesh and fabric do not peel, plus a glass-fibre reinforced frame and a support operation with a real parts pipeline to back a 5-year-class warranty.
Both are offered. The Fractal Design Refine comes in mesh or fabric options, and either one sidesteps the PU leatherette peeling that dominates long-term complaints about gaming chairs. Reviewers consistently praise its understated build and ergonomics.
Yes. The research notes a clean support operation with a real parts pipeline, which puts it in the small group of chairs on our board, alongside the Secretlab Titan Evo, where a worn part can be replaced rather than the whole chair.
