It's always a good idea having a key override, a manual key override on the outside because smart locks are great, but when they go wrong, then and they will at some point eventually go wrong or they'll they'll be out of power or something will go wrong. You're going to want a a manual override.

The only Nuki lock downside is the charging method. It uses a proprietary cable that attaches magnetically to the lock, and it seems easy to misplace. I even prefer Nuki's unlocking method to other smart locks, because I just turn the handle.
