The MPG 322UR X24’s color is exemplary with just a 1.44dE average error out of the box when referenced to DCI-P3. Like nearly all QD-OLEDs, there’s a bit of red oversaturation while the other colors are spot-on. Green is fully covered. It doesn’t get much better than that but after a grayscale calibration, the error drops to 1.05dE. When viewing a color bar pattern, there’s no difference but in practice, you get a bit more depth and texture in the image.

In my testing, the MPG 322UR QD-OLED X24 was able to sustain a 20 V/5 A load, at which point it delivered 99.50 W of power through its USB-C interface. The ATORCH BW150 registered 95.19 W on the receiving end, with the difference primarily due to cable losses.

Not a redesign, more a re-engineering, with Samsung Display’s fourth-gen panel doing all the graft underneath a chassis you’ll recognise instantly.

Would it stop me buying the MSI MPG 322UR X24? Ultimately, no. But it is the one issue that prevents me from screaming, "buy, buy, buy." Well, that and the very likely fact that MSI will be doing a cheaper, very slightly de-featured, version of this monitor, maybe with reduced USB-C power delivery, that kind of thing.

Overall, the MSI MPG 322UR QD-OLED X24 is an exceptional gaming monitor that delivers an almost complete package. Combining stunning 4K image quality with a 240Hz refresh rate, excellent color performance, and a wide range of customization options, there is very little this display can’t do. Its impressive color gamut, strong accuracy, and selection of picture modes make it a versatile option for both gaming and creative workloads. However, that level of performance does come at a premium price, meaning it won’t be accessible to everyone.

Like any gaming monitor, it's not perfect. The glossy finish means more reflections in bright rooms, and while 32 inches is already sizeable, you'll find that ultrawide options (around the same price) deliver more value for multitasking. To recap, the MPG 322UR X24 surpasses the existing MPG 322URX in a few areas. For instance, MSI's new 32-inch monitor delivers 300 nits peak SDR brightness for a 25% uplift over the MPG 322URX . Peak HDR brightness remains at 1,000 nits though, presumably still at 3% APL.

The real competition for the AG326UZD2 is the MSI MPG 322UR X24. This rival ups power delivery to 98W via USB-C and sports a unique AI Care Sensor, in addition to slightly better colour accuracy and uniformity. Spending an extra £50 for those advantages is reasonable if they hold appeal, but I’d describe all of them as nice-to-have features rather than absolute improvements over AOC’s offering. For those who want the lion’s share of the best a 4K QD-OLED monitor can offer in 2026, the AOC Agon Pro AG326UZD2 comes heartily recommended.

This seems like decent progress. I've got the original 321URX and it's been good overall. MSI took months to fix issues with HDMI input in their firmware (exacerbated by Nvidia's incompetent driver updates confusing things) so I hope the support has improved. I think I'd be tempted to upgrade if the subpixel layout was in RGB stripe . Thanks for the in depth look!
