HDR is similarly wonderful with the KTC H27T22C-3, at least for the price. You can't expect the world here for such a low cost, and you're only getting not-quite-real-HDR DisplayHDR 400, but it works well and in fact even makes things look better in SDR mode, which isn't often the case with HDR. Put all of this together, and you have a very well-rounded monitor for a very reasonable price. You're not getting USB passthrough or any of those nice little extras, but that's about all you're sacrificing for the price here. The actual performance and visuals are certainly up to the competition.

Let's cut straight to the important part: I have never seen an IPS screen with this little motion blur. I literally walked over and looked at the box to make sure it wasn't an OLED (It doesn't have the black levels, but still). There is almost no ghosting.

KTC has quietly become one of the better direct-to-consumer monitor brands, and the H27T22C-3 shows why. It’s one of the only monitors on this list that jumps up to 1440p resolution while still landing close to $150–190, and the 200Hz panel (overclockable to 220Hz) means you’re not sacrificing smoothness to get there. The 131% sRGB color gamut and HDR400 support also make it a genuinely good screen for watching movies between gaming sessions.

In short, the KTC H27T22C-3 doesn’t just compete in the budget segment — it redefines it. A 180Hz 2K monitor with professional-grade specs for under $200? That’s not just impressive; it’s game-changing.

All of which means I've come away pretty impressed by the KTC H27T22C-3. It doesn't feel markedly different from most other recent 1440p IPS panels I've seen of late. And that's very much a complement.
