The wider sole and subtle perimeter weighting adds a nice dose of stability and forgiveness. Where the Mizuno Pro S-4 gets interesting, however, is in its loft structure. Like the Wilson XB irons, the S-4 loft matrix is noticeably weaker than those of standard player’s distance irons. The 7-iron clocks in at 34 degrees whereas a standard player’s distance iron is in the 29- to 30.5-degree range. If you tested the S-4 head-to-head with a TaylorMade P790 or PING i540, it won’t win on distance.Read C Club Champion Club Champion · 234K subscribers · Sept 2025

I’ve had the pleasure of playing golf over the holidays with both the Pro X and Pro S golf balls, and I’ve been majorly impressed by how both of them performed on the course. I’m a bigger fan of the Pro X because it suits my game more, but I still enjoy playing with the Pro S – read the full review here .Read M Michael Newton Golf Michael Newton Golf · 98.4K subscribers · Jul 2025
My review of the new 2025 Mizuno Pro S-1 muscle back blade iron which looks beautiful & feels amazing! I run it through it's paces hitting the 5 iron, 7 iron & 9 iron both indoors on TrackMan as well as outdoor on grass.Watch C
The shape on these irons is great, with a more compact look and a slightly shorter blade length compared to the Pro S-3 irons. The topline is thin, and the toe has a slightly sharper look to it that I think most better players will appreciate.Read 2 2nd Swing Golf 2nd Swing Golf · 94.1K subscribers · Sept 2026
It's the Mizuno Pro S4 and this perhaps is the cleanest, best looking players cavity iron I've ever seen. I'm loving the feedback off the face. And today we're going to bring in Harrison Arnold to do some testing and give us the feedback on performance as well. Oh yeah. Oh, I like these, Drew.Watch T
Focusing solely on the Pro S (you can read the Pro X review here ), I’ve genuinely been blown away by how well this golf ball performs, considering its predecessor – the RB Tour – was very underwhelming in my eyes.Read 2 2nd Swing Golf 2nd Swing Golf · 94.1K subscribers · Jan 2025
