Overall I’m still happy with it. The main advantages are the wire-free setup, easy mapping, and generally reliable mowing. It’s very convenient once everything is configured, though sometimes it was not too precise on edges and it lost signal from RTK from time to time. Probably here I need to put the RTK somewhere else. During the season it worked well and required very little intervention.

I may have found the best entry-level robot lawn mower for small yards because number one, it's packed with a ton of great features. And number two, it comes in at a great price. So, if you're rocking a smallish yard in an urban or suburban setting, you may think that those fancy expensive robot mowers that are available are overkill. And I think you're right.

Mammotion's YUKA Mini is a wire-free robot mower built specifically for small urban and suburban yards, and it delivers a feature set that is a pleasant surprise at this price point. Jimmy put it through real-world testing including overgrown grass, surface roots, and an 18-degree hill climb, and the machine held up where it counts.

So, I love that it has that backup. It's just not going to stop in the middle of your lawn and give up. It will continue to keep going. Now, another thing that's different from like the Luba Mini that I recently talked about is this has manual height control.

After watching various YouTube reviews and much Googling I'm kinda sold on the Yuka Mini but undecided on the 600, 700 or 800 I only have a a couple of lawns totalling around 250-300sqm but I'm thinking the 700 or 800 for the benefits of the additional battery capacity, (longer runs, less charging per full cut).

This Yucka Mini robot mower from Emotion can handle all of your lawn care by itself. As far as the Mammotion Yuka Mini’s concerned, the camera reliably ensures that hedgehogs are unlikely to be run over and injured or even killed. In my tests with a dummy hedgehog , the mower consistently recognised the obstacle and moved around it.

Anyway, this lawn mower is fantastic cuz I don't have to put any perimeter wire down. There is no wire going around the edge of the lawn at all. It's a little bit windy today. Um that comes to actually the rain sensor. It's got a rain center. If it's raining, it's not going to come out. It'll come out and be like, "Oh, it's raining." And it'll go back in. You can do it.

The third time now Mammotion was so nice to send me a new lawnmower robot, and this time we have the Yuka Mini 2. >> As you can see, I'm still using the Luba 2 all-wheel drive, which is amazing. And this is now the more affordable version, rear-wheel drive and only one blade with five knives. But a lot has changed in the 3 years.

It's so straightforward, it is literally unbox, plug in, get mowing. You don't even have to map your lawn yourself. Now, don't get me wrong, you can. There is a feature where you can map out certain parts of your lawn to get it really specific and get it to avoid any obstacles or anything like that.

Just making sure that the actual mowing pattern is really specific and it's just meaning that you're not going to have to put any of those kind of like perimeter cables that you used to have to put out for any sort of old school robot lawnmowers. But it's not just the RTK that helps it to navigate. It's also these cameras you can see at the front.

Honestly, what surprised me here is that it's flawless. And here, this is really the maximum in terms of grass height. Honestly, it cuts super well even though the grass is very tall. In terms of noise, if I put the microphone next to it, honestly, it's fine. And since it had left a strip of grass in the middle, I see that it is currently cutting it. So that's great.

One of the biggest pros is its navigation system. The AI Vision technology allows the Yuka Mini to mow cleanly along boundaries, even without a satellite signal. It uses highde cameras to distinguish grass from non-grass surfaces, so it stays in the right zones and avoids flower beds or pathways.

What's great here is that we don't just have a camera, but also like with the larger Luba 3, a lidar sensor. This means the RTK antenna that was still included with last year's U Mini is no longer needed. This not only makes getting started easier, but it also runs a bit more reliably than with the RTK antenna where you depended on good reception.

This mower has become one of the most frustrating products we have ever bought. The entire reason we chose Mammotion was because of the promised RTK precision and smart navigation, but the reality is a complete mess. The mower constantly ignores the mapped routes and drives completely random paths instead. Every mowing session is different.

There are some obvious differences, but they'll only really affect you if you're planning to mow like acres. If you're mowing fields, which their bigger brothers are actually capable of, then you're going to want their bigger brothers. If you're mowing a normalsized lawn, this thing might do it in a couple of goes after recharging its battery, but it actually gets the job done.

Neither feels cheap or toy-like, but the C20's heavier dock, stronger wheel setup, and more rugged outdoor feel give it a slight edge in terms of durability confidence. At the same time, the Yuka Mini 2 feels easier to approach, less intimidating, more like a product built for people who just want fast setup and simple daily use. So, already you can kind of see the difference in philosophy here.

I do not recommend it if you have a garden with a lot of holes, a lot of bumps, and also with a steep slope because this one will be limited to a 45% slope. Regarding installation, it's very simple, also very fast. You just have to install the station and map out your garden.

However, the cable is only 5 m long, which we find too short. 10 m would have been better as some competitors offer. If the power cable is too short for your garden layout, you will need to purchase an extension cord suitable for outdoor use. Four stakes and a hex key are included to secure the charging station to the ground. A kit of six replacement blades is also provided.

That said, I still think the Yuka Mini 600 offers great value. It's not a cheap mower, but for what you get, I think the price is fair. The design is slick, the features are advanced, and most of the small issues can probably be fixed through software updates.
