The ECOVACS GOAT A3000 LiDAR PRO handled the mowing, trimmed right to the edge with TruEdge Cutting, and worked around obstacles while I worked on my golf game. The lawn looked great when I got home. Now if it could only fix my slice. 😂. If interested, check it out in my profile.View post C
Well, this right here is the Ecovacs GOAT A3000 Lidar Pro, and honestly, this is one of the most advanced robotic lawn mowers I've ever tested. With this, you're getting dual lidar navigation, AI-powered obstacle avoidance, wire-free setup, fully automated edge trimming, and enough cutting power to handle large lawns with ease.Watch S
The ECOVACS Goat A3000 LiDAR PRO is best for Buyers who hate residual edge work, Yards with tree cover that defeats RTK, Mid-estate lawns 1/2 to 3/4 acre. Experts rate it "Recommended" with a 8.2/10 consensus across 4 sources.Read J
It maintains navigation accuracy down to approximately 2 cm even at night, and I did test this at dusk here in Phoenix, and it works very well. This means you get no signal drop under trees or shrubs, no complicated setup, and no buried wires in your yard. You press start and it builds a full holographic map of your lawn in one pass.Watch T
If you crave professional-looking lines in your lawn, you’ll love the clean cut. The Goat leaves tight, straight lines that will leave your neighbors asking for your landscaper’s number.Read V
So no wire, no antenna, and no any type of a manual setup at all is needed. It builds a precise map and it holds its position with 2 cm of accuracy throughout the whole yard of yours. And here is the part that genuinely surprised me. It does all of that in complete darkness. Yes, it can work at night. So, it doesn't even need the daylight.Watch |
Its durable 5Ah battery ensures extended runtime, supporting this demanding navigation with remarkably fast 45 minute recharge cycles, making it an excellent fit for medium-sized lawns.Read F
And after spending a few months with it, this thing feels a lot closer to the dream of true hands-free lawn care.Watch S
Top picks: Husqvarna 450X EPOS (large yards), Segway Navimow X390 (best overall), Eufy E15 (easiest setup), Ecovacs Goat A3000 (mid-range), Gardena Sileno City (budget)Read T
So first off, this is the easiest product I think I've ever had to get set up. All I had to do get it out of the box, plug it in. It just needs a power source and that's it. There's no other antenna or anything that I need to connect and it's able to use this little LAR on top to understand where it is on my yard, map everything, and then go out and get the yard mode.Watch F
That alone is a major selling point, but the premium feature stack and quality app further the argument to buy.Read T
It ditches the RTK sensor, adds a new True Edge trimmer attachment to finally get the edges of my lawn, and it still packs great battery life and top-tier hardware along with a full suite of features and customization options inside the Ecovacs app that make mowing my lawn a fully automated process that's totally smart.Watch 9
Ecovacs’ Goat A3000 Pro does just that, giving it an edge over others.Read B
I want that to be clear right now, but whether this is sponsored or not, this is even more impressive than other robot lawn mowers that I've used so far, and it's going to actually change how you mow your lawn because it's not just a robot lawn mower, but it has an integrated true edge trimmer system right here that can finish the edges, and that takes it up another level.Watch T
This Robot Cuts Accurate, is Fast & Antenna Free!Watch J
This isn't just another robot mower, it's a complete lawn care replacement. It has advanced dual LiDAR navigation that maps a yard with incredible accuracy. This means no underground perimeter wires and more importantly no dealing with clunky RTK antennas that ruin your yard's aesthetic and constantly lose satellite signal under trees and if a cloud happens to just move in the wrong direction.Watch D
I think my yard now is the best one in the neighborWatch D
So, first off, it looks super clean, really futuristic-looking. It's got this awesome navigation system on it. Holoscope 360 dual LiDAR.Watch L
I've already been using this mower for a few weeks, and so I know that it's going to work well for us here on this yard. It does have dual discs. It's got the lidar system up top here, but it also has cameras, as you can see up here, so it can detect objects and avoid hitting stuff. Let's flip it up here so you can see those dual blades. So, those will spin, and you can also adjust the height.Watch W
The app is super simple to use. If we go inside my app, we can look at the section of grass that it is currently cutting. The The little black guy with the arrow on the front is the mower. It is actually in its spot and if we zoom in, you can see the lines that it is producing. Now, as it goes through, it's going to erase those lines to show you its progress.Watch M
So, when I heard about the Ecovacs A3000 Lidar Pro, which I first got to see at CES earlier this year, and saw the true edge trimmer, I was blown away. This is the Ecovacs Goat A3000 Lidar Pro and after I've been running it now on this lawn, I've got some real thoughts to share with you guys.Watch M
This here is the Eovax Goat A3000 and it has some of the most advanced technology that you will find in a robot lawnmower today. It has the Lels Pro, which is a dual lidar sensing system similar to what they use on autonomous vehicles and it can map out areas automatically for you.Watch E
This isn't some AI dreamland, this is my reality now that I have the Ecovacs Goat A1300 LiDAR Pro robot lawn mower. And while robot lawn mowers have been out for quite a few years, they've always had three big drawbacks. They've been unable to help with related lawn mowing tasks like the trimming. That meant having to go out after the robot and clean up all the edges.Watch D
The Goat is an electric robotic mower, so there's no gas, no oil changes, no pulling a cord, and the whole point is that once it's set up properly, it can help maintain your lawn on a regular schedule.Watch R
After using it for the first cut of the season in my yard, I am impressed. This might be the smartest, most complete robot mower I've tested yet. If you've seen of the original A3000 last year, you already know how much of a game-changer that was for me. It was my first ever robot lawnmower that I set on a schedule and just let it do its thing.Watch D
It is designed to complete the entire job, not just help with it. So, if you're ready to reclaim your weekends, let's get right into it. First, let's talk about the unboxing and build quality. Straight out of the box, you can tell this is a high-end premium piece of technology. You get the mower itself, Wow. >> It looks beautiful. The accessories and very impressive 189-W charging station.Watch D
I'll tell you what, this thing comes packaged good. You have a manual here on top. This is part of the trimming. This thing will mow your grass and trim your grass. That's the first time I've ever had one like that. So, we're going to have to figure out how to put this together. Holy mother. Look at this thing. Hang on. Holy buckets, that thing is awesome.Watch T
I would say it maneuvers really easy. I mean, I am doing it manually, so it probably will do even better on its own. All right, I'm going to finish mapping out the yard just around the perimeter, and then we're going to move on to the next step. So, this green section is my whole yard area. Um now, the end requirement is that you have to close your boundary.Watch N
So, this new one can run about 3/4 of an acre a day of cutting. Let's open this up. We'll get it set up. I will get this guy running and we'll see how well it performs. I think this one also has a higher waterproofing, so it's a IPX6 rated, so you can actually hose off the undercarriage now. And then of course, you can have multiple different areas.Watch N
I love this new technology for robot lawnmowers here. This is really revolutionizing how easy it is for me to maintain my property. I have a large property, a lot of grass, and this stuff is awesome. So, my latest one here is a Goat A3000 mower. This uses a 32vt system, battery powered, obviously.Watch F
So, this model is more expensive than the A2500, but it is the top of the line of robot mowers. I'll put a link to the mower below the video if you want to check it out.Watch T
On top of that, the U-shaped path planning algorithm is designed to minimize overlaps and turns, boosting mowing efficiency by up to 30% compared to traditional random pattern robots.Watch G
I I was not expecting to be as impressed by this as I am. And uh, I'm excited to tell you what this thing can do. Stick around. Okay, let's go. All right, full disclaimer. This was sent to me for testing prop purposes and review. However, neither EVAX nor the PR agency will get any kind of input on the video before it goes live or see it before you. So, this is new to everybody just like you.Watch G
This is the Ecovacs Goat A1-3000 Lidar Pro and it's been pretty great. Now, this has been a really cool mower to use. I didn't have, you know, I wasn't expecting anything groundbreaking with this mower because it is essentially a lot like the mower I tested last year, the non-pro model. Hang on, let me grab that. There. See? Basically the same mower. We don't have a whole lot of differences here.Watch C
This product's going to solve all those problems. This is Ecovacs robot mower, and this is the Goat A3000 Lidar Pro. All right, guys.Watch C
And this is really nice cuz it helps so you don't have to do any string trimming around your property. Now, as you guys can see, this setup's a little bit different. It doesn't have a traditional lawn mower blade. It has two of these discs, and then these are going to be the blades on the end. These are pretty sharp, like razor blades.Watch T
Now, getting it set up is very easy. Opening up the packaging, there's a detailed quick start guide, and everything is packaged very well. And these are all of the components laid out. This is a wire-free robot lawnmower, so you don't have to worry about that headache, and it doesn't use an RTK either, so you don't have to worry about that. Like the name implies, this has LiDAR.Watch T

I like the talking. If you get too close to it, it will talk to you that way, also. So, we're going to show a couple minutes each each thing. But, I may have found a machine that's going to give you your time back. This engineering marvel is supposed to map your yard, cut your lawn, and even trim your edges. And it's got so much artificial intelligence, it makes Skynet look underpowered. Hey, don't judge me, John Connor. This right here is the Goat A3000 Lidar Pro.Watch J
I wanted to talk about this robotic mower, which might be the smartest thing I've ever put in my yard. No ground wires needed, no gas needed, and you don't have to feed it like we do with these other goat mowers we have on the farm. But is this Robo Goat all buzz or the true goat of lawn care? Stick around and let's take a more detailed look at the Eovax Goat A3000.Watch H
The Goat A3000 comes with a 3-year manufacturer warranty, which is excellent coverage for a mower in this category. Next is a charging station. The charging station includes a base where the mower docks, the power adapter, and the bolts that allow you to secure the charging station to the ground, so it stays firmly in place while the mower is docking and charging.Watch C
This looks really really good sized. And uh if you look under it, it's got a lot of them just have one spinning wheel, but this one has two, so it cuts a little wider, which I imagine is makes it a little bit more efficient.Watch M
And I was pretty impressed. Even though they didn't have like a working model, but this is the overall design of it to some other concepts that I've seen from other brands, I thought that the idea and uh trimming abilities of this was definitely something that had to try out. So, here's some instructions. We're not going to need that for right now. And just like last year's, comes with a base.Watch T
The app does a great job of walking you through this process, and in my case, it went very smoothly. I didn't have any errors. Now, once you connect, it may require you to update the mower to the latest version, like it is for me here, which is a fairly quick process if you've got a good internet connection.Watch T
I've just moved the GOAT A3000 into the place of honor. It's going to take over primary cutting duties for my yard. The Orion X7 previously held this spot and it performed quite well. The only thing that was holding it back is Sunseeker provided that mower for me for testing and review. They gave me the base model because I have a relatively large yard.Watch M

So several of the areas I have cut multiple times with it. Uh the one thing that I will say is it has surprised me how well it works uh with the gravel and stuff like that. So uh the gravel as you can see this is generally speaking this is all over my property is sand and this gravel here. And another thing is here I have bea grass which is this little grass right here.Watch E
But this spring, I purchased and started testing the new Ecovacs A3000 LiDAR Pro, and I'm realizing some of the biggest problems with last year's robot mowers may finally be solved. And over the next few weeks, I'm going to be putting this thing through some difficult testing and comparing it to another new LiDAR mower.Watch

You’ll be happy with the ECOVACS GOAT A3000 LiDAR PRO if you have a flat-to-moderate lawn and you value a clean, beautifully striped cut with genuinely hands-off operation. The wire-free LiDAR setup is painless, the obstacle detection is reliable, and the TrueEdge trimmer means less manual edge work than any other robot mower asks of you.Read S
And then there's the Ecovacs Goat A3000 lidar Pro and they aren't chasing current trends or playing catch-up. Their lidar mower is on its second season already. They've been doing the lidar thing before it was cool and they're really good at it. This is the second generation Goat from Ecovacs and there's no need to reinvent the wheel here.Watch P
Like the Segway Navimow X350 robot mower I reviewed in July , the Goat A3000 cuts at a default speed much closer to a human (although there’s also a faster speed). Gone are hours-long mowing sessions: on our 0.28 acre yard, it was done in about 40 minutes, with plenty of battery power left.Read M
This is the Eovax Goat A3000 and Goat definitely stands for greatest of all time cuz this robotic lawn mower is definitely my favorite of all time. This thing is absolutely amazing. And if you're looking for a smart lawn mower, then this is definitely the one that I can highly highly recommend. But it's not all sunshine and roses. There are definitely a couple cons.Watch M MowerBench The Team · reviewer
The caveat: this is a new model with no longitudinal buyer data. The O1000's early reviews were glowing too, and look what happened. I'd wait until owners hit month six before I fully trusted it. But the hardware is genuinely impressive, and the LiDAR navigation is the future.Read T
My prediction is that my property is going to be too challenging for the goat. What I'd be happy with is if it can just take care of large parts of my yard to make my mowing job a lot easier.Watch E

After using the Goat A1000 Lidar Pro consistently for the last 3 months, I think I finally have a pretty good understanding of what it does really well and where it needs improvement and who this mower is really kind of actually for. I've also spent some time around the O1000 and the A2000.Watch H

Pretty simple, pretty easy. And once you got that all done, you're going to want to map your lawn. And there's two ways to do this. Um the easiest way or the most convenient way for most people is going to be the lidar, doing the auto mapping. But, unfortunately, I could not use the lidar uh auto mapping here and I this was the same issue I had last year with the last year's model.Watch R r/roboticLawnmowers u/JeffTechnically · owner

Based on this total absence of bug fixes over such a long period of time, I will definitely never buy an Ecovacs product again. It is incredibly frustrating to pay premium price for hardware, only to have it rendered useless by lazy or non-existent software support.
