In movies with Dolby Atmos the effect is impressive. Four ceiling speakers create a true sound dome. We can hear the rain falling from above and objects moving above our heads. But there is one condition. Flat ceiling at standard height. The soundstage is wide and dialogue in movie mode is clear. The 6.5-inch subwoofer goes down to about 40 Hz.Watch H

Well, the recommended retail price is the same as the previous AX5125H, $400, but as you can see from this listing, you could find it discounted to $ 350. It's exceptional value for a 5.1.4 channel soundbar that performs as well as this one does, though you do sacrifice more premium features like ecosystem agnostic room correction and high bandwidth video pass through. For most shopping around this budget, this is probably a concession worth making, especially for a jack-of alltrades bar that represents a seismic upgrade from TV speakersWatch S r/Soundbars u/kevjun420 · owner
This system punches way above its weight. I won’t go into detail if you’ve already researched it. No lag issues. I replaced a Polk S3 soundbar with this. Granted the Polk was a 2.1 system, but the Hisense sound quality blows the Polk away.Read thread N Ned TECH Ned TECH · 11.1K subscribers · Sept 2026
If your priority is movies, Netflix, sports, gaming, and you want your living room to literally sound like a movie theater, I would definitely consider the AX5140Q. The main reason I would buy it is that you get a full 5.1.4 system with separate rear speakers and Atmos. Instead of paying similar money for a stylish separate soundbar that only tries to simulate surround sound.Watch H

I've been using the AX5140Q for a few weeks now, and I've been paying attention to what it actually does versus what the spec sheet promises. First thing you notice is the setup. This thing comes with a wireless subwoofer, which means you're not running cables across your room. That's huge if you're in an apartment or you just don't want to drill holes in your walls.Watch

The Hisense AX5140Q delivers one of the biggest soundstages I've tested thus far, which can make music and action sequences so loud that it vibrates the walls. This is where the AX5140Q shines: In its loudness, its all-encompassing sound that turns a room into a movie theater.Read H

The issue i am having is when its set to pro mode the sound cuts out and I get a muffled hissing sound, I've tried suggested settings like pass through etc but it still does it. Its connected via earc and is getting annoying. Not even had it 2 weeks I am going to try a different hdmi cable but I don't think it is that. Any suggestions guys.View post T
