Flagged as a product to avoid

1 of 12 research runs entered this as a product to avoid rather than a pick.

The outgoing 600 Series still cleans very well, but its own successor, the Electrolux 700 Series ELFW7738A, matches or beats it at comparable money, so the newer model is simply the better buy.

The Electrolux ELFW7637AT (sometimes known as the “600 Series”) is currently our top-rated front-load washer. Our testing proved that it's fantastic at cleaning clothes. It can run true sanitize cycles and an NSF-certified Allergen option to eliminate germs and allergens. Nifty features like a detergent pod dispenser and Extended Refresh (which tumbles clothes periodically after a cycle ends to prevent musty odors) make laundry that much more convenient. The control panel is straightforward with a smooth dial and clear labeling, typical of Electrolux’s attention to user-friendly design. Overall, the 600 Series’ blend of stain-removal performance, limited but useful features, and solid build quality has made it a top pick in our tests.
