Flagged as a product to avoid

3 of 4 research runs entered this as a product to avoid rather than a pick.

Reviewed found it tough on clothes, a real performance cost of its agitator design, and modern HE front-loaders like the LG WM3400CW clean better while being gentler, so the old-school value case no longer holds.

Flagged 18 September 2026
Reviewed's testing found it tough on clothes, which undermines the core job of a washer, and the LG WM4000H cleans comparably without the fabric wear.
Flagged 18 September 2026
Reviewed's tested review found solid cleaning performance but concluded it is tough on clothes, and that fabric wear compounds over years of ownership. It gets cross-shopped against the Speed Queen TC5, which is the agitator machine built to still be running when this one is recycled.
