I just love how this machine cleans. It sounds like it's actually cleaning rather than just spreading dirt. The allergens like cheap robot vacuums do. Even good ones that I've had just never really seemed to clean very well. Try and get a little bit closer. It's on auto mode.

Look at how well it's done so far. I mean, the surface dirt is picked up. It's the deep down dirt I'm concerned about. And yes, I prevacked the room three times slowly with the Ricar R17, sorry, R10P. So, the carpet is extremely clean. That's a very powerful vacuum cleaner. Heat. Heat. Here it comes for the final pass over here. Move my feet. It certainly seems like it's getting the dirt.

Overall the Dyson 360 Visav delivers cleaning performance on par with good cordless vacuum cleaners. And that's a remarkable result for a robot vacuum. Next up is the carpet cleaning performance. Here too, I'm using certified test dust. On both the red and blue carpets, I applied 10 g of test dust, evenly distributed and lightly worked into the fibers.

This is my first Dyson robot vacuum, and while I wanted to buy one when it launched in 2023, I just couldn't justify the price for a robot that even then lag behind much of the competition. Still, I always knew I'd eventually get my hands on one to find out if its carpet cleaning performance really lived up to the hype.

Also, I just don't think this is a very attractive machine, but I've been looking at it for several years now, and it finally came down to almost half price, and I don't really see anything better out there. My Nato D7 had the Dshape, which is what I wanted because that gets into the corners, and this is the only one that's on the market right now that I can find that isn't refurbished.

It did a decent job. I want to see it go back over that area. Trying to push this thing out of the way. Vacuum, you're not going to be able to push that. Let me just move this. This thing is always in the way. Anyways, there. Now the vacuum's unstuck. Heat. There it goes. I hope it goes back to the carpet. Well, it handles this rug, which is really nice.

It surprised me by being phenomenal at fine dust, yet surprisingly weak at basic mapping and edge cleanup. In real use, the 360 Vis Nav feels premium. solid plastic throughout, a smooth top shell, and a clean ejection mechanism for the dust bin. The D-shaped body is Dyson's attempt to hug walls more closely. And yes, it does reach closer than circular bots in some spots.
