Features The Xtreme 2 SE is Bowflex’s signature power-rod machine. Instead of a stack of iron plates, it uses flexible rods that create resistance, starting at 210 lbs and upgradeable to 410 lbs with add-on rods. It handles over 70 different exercises — lat pulldowns, leg extensions, squats, presses, you name it — through a cable and pulley system. The footprint is roughly 53″ x 49″, though you’ll want close to 7 feet of ceiling height for full range of motion. It comes with a 7-year frame warranty and a lifetime warranty on the power rods themselves.Read M
Getting setup for the bench press on the Bowflex Xtreme 2 SE is very simple. You can go from incline bench to decline bench without adjusting anything on the machine. If you want to go with a narrow or wide grip bench press that is also very simple to adjust. I will show you how to perform these easy exercises and get you started on your chest routine.Watch S
Once it’s set up, the machine is about as good-looking as a home gym can be. I especially appreciate the relatively compact footprint. The Xtreme 2 SE gym needs about 6.5 square feet of floor space and stands just shy of 7 feet tall, but you’ll want to leave extra room on the sides so you can adjust the attachments and resistance.Read B
