I honestly have not found anything I do not like about the bike and while the price is high for a commuter, the technology is rather stunning and makes the bike a sincere joy to ride. In my video review I talked about a couple of areas for improvement, but they are minor and do not detract from my rating.

Just a really nice looking e-bike. Now, in terms of fit range on this bike, this is the step-through version, but of course you can also get it in a high step. So, they also have three total configurations.

It packs a mid drive motor and electronic shifting, all for the relatively low price. 2,799 US. We have also RECeived the more affordable Level 4 REC with the rear hub motor, which is priced at 1999 US. I've already tested the level two and the level three, so I'm excited to see how the new version compares.

That's a pretty strong setup for a commuter, and it should translate to quick acceleration, solid hill climbing, and the ability to comfortably reach Class 3 speeds up to 28 mph. That motor is paired with a UL 2271 certified 733-W hr removable battery. Aventon claims up to 75 mi of range, but our test suggests that's on the conservative side, but we'll get into more detail on that later on.

In turbo, this is the Aventon Level 4 REC. And don't worry if you don't know what REC means in relation to the rest of their lineup.

So, yeah, if you live in an area where you're wanting to commute or get around town quickly, the uh bumping it up to a class three is awesome. So, turbo will take us all the way up to 28. But if we pop this thing over into boost here in a little bit, we are on a time delay on boost. Says it'll be available in 266 seconds.

Yeah, very nice bike. Very comfortable bike to ride. It is a uh handlebar that's kind of straight across, right? So, it's um it's one that I think most people are familiar with as far as if you're coming from a non-electric bike and you want to go on to an electric bike and you don't want the big fat tire bikes or anything like that, get one of these. Yeah, this is like 2.22 in wide.

This is the Aventon Level 4 ADV trim level, and they have addressed those limitations and then some. Aventon offers other trims of the Level 4, and that includes the wreck version, which I've reviewed separately, and you can find a link to that in the video's description.

Turbo feels really nice. I'm just trying to get out here for a ride, get a ride in for Saturday. Um I just sold a compressor and I had to wait for the guy, help him load it in his truck, and of course we started talking bikes and you know, he uh wanted to know all about them.
