It's got dual 10 gig ports, which is ideal for 8K streaming, gaming, NAS or NAS, or if you just have a lot of smart devices connected to your Wi-Fi. With these two nodes together, it covers up to 6,000 square ft. You can see this one's marked as the main unit. So, you'll want to set up starting with this one and then you'll just add this one to the system. You got your reset and WPS button there.

If your ISP offers or plans to offer multi-gig service above 2.5 Gbps, systems like the ASUS ZenWiFi BT10 and eero Max 7 with their 10G ports will not bottleneck your connection. The Deco BE63, Orbi 770, and MSI Roamii BE Pro all max out at 2.5 Gbps on the wired side, which is fine for today but may become a limitation in 3 to 5 years.

And the beauty of it is once you set it up, your phone will automatically switch in between them. So, if you're closer to one room, it'll switch you here. If you're closer to the other, it'll switch you here. There's nothing you need to do on your phone. And assuming your internet speeds are fast enough, you it shouldn't even lag if you're doing something in the background when it's switching.

I just finished testing the BT10 and really enjoyed my time with it. Setup was straightforward, it stayed stable throughout testing, and I saw consistent speeds with good range. In our tests we push coverage out to about 30 meters from the base, with the satellite placed in two different locations, and it held up very well.

I’m a big fan of this mesh system now. The firmware update was critical as it was very faulty for awhile. However, I did a wireless backhaul and got incredible coverage. I’m getting 1.2gigs wirelessly on a 1 gig plan with the 6ghz band on a wifi 7 device.

In my testing, I was blown away by the speeds and reliability of this system. I was able to stream 4K content to multiple devices at the same time, and my online gaming sessions were smooth and lag-free. I also tested the system with a large number of devices connected at the same time and it barely skipped a beat.

The coverage is where this really shines. Asus claims 6,000 square ft with just two units. And in my testing across a two-story home, I'm getting strong signals even in the basement and out on the back deck. Those eight internal antennas aren't just for show. I've been testing this two-pack setup in a 5,000 square foot home with 40 plus devices, phones, laptops, TVs, cameras, smart plugs, you name it and I haven't seen a single hiccup. No lag during 4K streams, no stutter in video calls, and no random disconnections when the fridge kicks on. The first thing that impressed me is the coverage. This two pack system blankets up to 6,000 square ft with strong Wi-Fi 7 signal. I tested it in a 4,500 square ft home with thick walls, and even the basement and garage maintained excellent speeds. No more walking around holding your phone up trying to find signal bars. What really sets this apart is how it handles network traffic.
