The CX15 takes full advantage of what ChromeOS offers — a mainly web-based experience that's simple to use. But it also boasts a decently large 15.6-inch FHD (1920 x 1080) display, a spacious, comfy keyboard and an attractive, slimline design that's easy to carry around (and durable thanks to its MIL-STD 810H military grade protection).Read K
It performs smoothly. The Chrome operating system boots in just under 10 seconds, and switching between the tabs feels very quick and responsive. The battery life is another strong point. It's easily last a full work or the school day on a single charge making it great for the students or the professionals on the go.Watch W
I definitely recommend the version with 8 GB of RAM, but regardless of which you choose, the both the CX14 and larger CX15 are mildly attractive laptops. You'd know that's a big compliment if you've seen just how ugly Chromebooks of this price have been in the past.Read T
These beauties combine sleek design, eco-conscious materials, and top-notch performance, making them a game-changer in the Chromebook market. First up, let's talk about the eco-friendly design. ASUS has gone all out to make these Chromebooks sustainable, using 30% post-consumer recycled plastic and FSC trademark mixed packaging. They even boast an EPEAT climate plus certification.Watch T
If you’re looking for a Chromebook with plenty of connectivity options, you’ll be disappointed with the CX15. Despite its large size, there are only four ports (five on the Intel Core model, thanks to its extra USB-C port), all located on the left-hand side.Read R

So, it might not sound great, but I think the Asus Chromebook CX15 is good for casual users, and I mean bare minimum. Folks should primarily use this to watch videos, shop online, print, or email. I wouldn't recommend this to long-form writers or anyone managing a spreadsheet — large documents will stress this laptop out, and therefore you.Read B
Don't get me wrong, if you are doing something more intense, this might not fit in, but just for context, I have a younger brother who studied in London. He graduated like 2 weeks ago, and for the entire 4 years all he used was a Chromebook. And if I had known about this, I would have recommended this for him when he was asking me about a laptop to get.Watch T
Most criticism focuses on limited processing power, basic hardware, and the compromises expected from a budget Chromebook. Overall, the This Chromebook CX15 is a practical and affordable laptop for users who mainly need internet access, school work, streaming, and everyday productivity. Its large display and easy-to-use Chrome OS experience make it stand out among budget Chromebooks.Watch G
It has this military-grade durability, which is a fancy way of saying it feels like it can survive being tossed into a backpack without you worrying about it snapping in half. At about 3 and 1/2 lb, it is not exactly a feather, but it is light enough that you won't mind carrying it around all day. The first thing that hits you when you open it up is that 15.6-in screen.Watch V
However, before you write it off completely, I'll also share who this device is actually perfect for and why it might still be worth your money. So stick around because I guarantee by the end of this, you'll know exactly if the ASUS Chromebook CX15 is a must-buy or a total pass.Watch M
And indeed, there are some serious limitations to this laptop. But whether those limitations matter to you depend a lot on why exactly you would buy an inexpensive laptop like this. So let's take a closer look. Now one reason you might buy a laptop that's inexpensive is because you just really don't care that much about the laptop's overall design.Watch
