However, it does function and work perfectly with my HVAC system, and I I have not had any issues. So, completely reliable, and it was fairly easy to install. I have a traditional HVAC system with a gas-fired furnace and an air conditioner. It took me about 25 minutes to install, but it's important to note that it does require a common wire for installation or a common wire adapter kit, which they do sell with the thermostat when you purchase it on Amazon.
