We are currently building out our Hubitat C-8 Pro network and are looking very closely at the Aqara W200. We are specifically interested in it because it acts as a Thread Border Router, which would be incredibly helpful since the Hubitat hub requires an external border router for Matter over Thread devices.

This week Acara released the new W200 thermostat and I like it because it works with Apple Home. That's a big thing for me. And I had been using the ecobee thermostat which worked great. What is nice about this one is and I understand if you already own a thermostat, thermostats aren't exciting.

And this finally solved the biggest complaint since launch, multi-sensor support. This adds the ability to do multi-temperature and humidity sensor averaging into a soft sensor. Let me show you how it works. So now the Aquara app gives you the option to create a soft temperature sensor. I'm going to select my W 100 climate sensor. And then it gives you the options to select the average value, max value, or min value of the sensors.
