Abus houses the hardened 27mm thick steel shackle and body of the Granit Super Extreme 2500 in an ultra-tough tungsten carbide shell to deflect angle grinders. It's the same material as used in cutters and grinders, so the lock is matching like with like, meaning that grinder discs are likely to wear quicker than the lock's cladding.
