As the heaviest of the locks in our test at 2.6kg we were expecting to have a hard time with the DX1000, but right away we noticed something interesting: the DX1000 seemed to lack a secure connection at its head, displaying a tiny wobble at the two connecting points.

And when you're not putting it on anything just here on the table, it's fairly easy to open, but I did notice some difficulty in tight spaces when you're trying to get this mechanism to engage and then lock it over. I've noticed sometimes it kind of seems like it's like the key gets kind of hung up in there or you're just kind of fumbling with it.
