I'm starting to get used to it, and I do like that the wider FOV helps with coverage downward toward the porch surface, but I'm probably going to switch back to Video Doorbell v2 because I prefer its picture, both in terms of color (it has a Wide Dynamic Range option) and less distortion in the view.

The main reason I switched to the v2 doorbell is it has an SD card slot so I can now have continuous recording where the v1 doorbell didn't have an SD card slot. Other than that I haven't noticed any real difference between the two cameras from a picture quality or features perspective. The v2 doorbell does have a bit more appealing look.
