Wyze Cam v4

I am tolerant of my wyze cams. They work, not spectacularly but consistently, and were affordable.

So, as you can see, you got pan and tilt and zoom, indoor, outdoor use, 4K night vision. The bottom just has some of the specs. It is IP65 with Wi-Fi 6. You can see Wise Cand 4 is the model there. The back shows you this actually mounted uh basically upside down. You're able to invert the uh camera like you can with all Wise cameras.

Overall, super easy to set up camera, super easy to use. If you were just looking for an easy to use camera and you want to be able to see what's going on around your house, around maybe your backyard, maybe you just want to keep an eye on your pets, maybe you got a cat, maybe you got a dog. That's what I personally use it for.

Overall, both really, really solid cameras. I would say if you want this inside on a window, I definitely get the OG. Overall, two really great cameras. But if you do want to have this indoors, I definitely get the OG.

So, these work really great for nighttime, daytime, anytime, indoor and outdoor like I mentioned. And these also are controllable via smart devices. So, you can do if this or that, Alexa, Google. Really cool in the whole Wise lineup. Like if you got all the other products, they sync so well. You can view it all just in one app.

There is an issue with the V4 though, the spotlight may cause a lense flare/halo effect when used so that may be an issue for some people.

And I see something that's a bit disappointing, especially after reading all the features. We have micro USB cable. I'm not sure why they didn't just go with the USBC, but it is what it is. And then here we have the power adapter. We have some screws because you can end up using this outdoor as well. So that's for mounting.

The Wyze interface is absolute trash now. They have run it into the ground and I am also switching. Will look at Reolink.
