I am leaning towards winix since it has higher cadr cfm and is generally held positive by many reviews on YouTube. But the issue I am facing is the winix on the Indian amazon is listed under a named seller justshop24x7 and the seller has very few rating and does look suspicious seller to me. I don't know if this seller will deliver the original winix.

They should not be the primary tool for anyone with genuine VOC concerns, chemical sensitivities, or environments with meaningful formaldehyde sources. Think of their carbon layers as a polite gesture toward gas filtration rather than a serious VOC mitigation strategy.

The WINIX 5500-2 has a good filter but it has a side pass through issue. were some dirty air can pass through the sides because the filter isn't fixed in place with any gaskets it only fits in loosely.
