vs WalkingPad Z1 (~£319): The Z1 is the value pick of the walking-only range, with the same FootSense auto-speed and a clever Z-fold for around £110 less. The A1 Pro earns its premium on two fronts only: the much higher 136 kg weight capacity and the more premium aluminium build. If you are under 100 kg and want the best value, the Z1 is the smarter buy. If you need the capacity or want the best-built pad, the A1 Pro is worth it.

You should buy the Walking Pad Z1 if you want the better overall experience. The integrated LED display makes a huge difference in daily usability, and the brushless motor is quieter for office environments. The fact that it's lighter and supports more weight makes it the superior piece of engineering. It's the modern standard for under desk walking.

The WalkingPad Z1 is the value champion of the range and the model we’d point most desk walkers toward. It carries the same brushless motor and FootSense auto-speed as machines costing twice as much, folds away more compactly than anything else WalkingPad makes, and now starts at around £259. It is walking only and the belt is narrow, but for the job a walking pad is actually bought to do, the Z1 is the smart-money choice.

This is my second Z1 pad because I liked it that much.

vs WalkingPad Z1 (~£259): This is the comparison that matters. The Z1 typically costs less than the C2 while offering a stronger 1.25 HP motor, a higher 110 kg weight capacity and the more compact Z-fold. For most buyers choosing between the two, the Z1 is the better value and the one we’d recommend.
