So, I really, really like this new design queue from VX4. This is a 16 amp battery. This is the highest model, the highest battery model from the Pro lineup. The one that I have here that is 18.2 amp hours. This is the longrange model for the new lineup.

But the VMAX is only coming in in about 57 lb. So mechanical brakes should get us stopped very well. But on the front we still are on that drum brake which did actually pretty good on that little guy right there. We'll see how that pairs up with this new electronic system. I'm really liking the design of this scooter. Now, checking the tires, we are rolling on 10-in pneumatic tubeless tires. These are very clean looking, too. Looks to be the Chowy Yangs. Very nice. And these are 10x 2.7. Looks like we're rocking with a drum brake on front. That's just fine for these lightweight commuters. We'll see how that does. And we have an electronic brake in the back.

The VX2 does not compromise rider comfort or safety in spite of its power. It has complete suspension, which makes it easy to navigate light trails and city streets. Although it isn't made for extreme off-roading, it can easily navigate rough or grassy terrain, the VX2 feels like a small motorcycle underfoot thanks to its robust frame and 10-in tubeless tires, which add to the scooter's solid root

I was so impressed with this scooter. I'm taking it on a nice little beast mode range test. I got this set up in beast mode here with a max speed. They say 33, but I've been getting 35 or 36 on it. And we're just going to rage all day. I'm going to do a little off-roading. See how it handles it.

The new VMAX VX2 Hub is incredible because not only is it lightweight and portable, it also goes 34 plus miles an hour, so I get my speed fix. And in the over 100 plus miles that I have tested this scooter so far, I can genuinely say that I haven't had to choose between whether I wanted a portable scooter to go with me or something that goes fast.

I like suspension at the front. And it's got something called elastoic suspension at the back. I think that's like a piece of rubber that you kind of compresses when you go up and down bumps, but I'm finding the ride's actually really quite enjoyable. This VX2 lineup with the added suspension, I think that's a winner.

This is the newest like coolest thing from V-Max. These will start shipping on July 25th and the VX2 hub is like an upgraded version of our original bestselling VX2 electric scooter. It's got the upgrade that everybody's been asking for, which is full suspension. It's got a uh oil damp suspension on the front and elastic suspension in the back.

The VX2 Hub looks like it fixes exactly that problem. They've added full dual suspension, an even stronger motor that peaks at, 1900 W, and they also bumped up the battery capacity. It all sounds really good, but is also more expensive than the Pro, which puts it in a totally different competitive bracket. Let's find out if the VX2 hub is worth the extra money.

The compromises are real though: the headlight is too dim for safe night riding, two speed modes is not enough at this performance level, and mechanical disc brakes feel like a cost cut on a scooter at this price point. If hills are the core problem and portability matters, this is the scooter to beat in its class.

The rear disc brake has improved things, but it's still not quite how I like it.

Vmax are overpriced and mediocre scooters, people only buy them because of ESG shill videos. 44 miles out of a 13ah 48v battery? My scooter has a 60v 35ah battery(4x the vmax capacity) and it gets about 40 miles at higher speeds, abd double that at low speeds.

I would say it rides very smoothly in Eco mode. That's what I always ride in, too. It has power when you need it, and when accelerating , you don't feel like you're about to pop a wheelie. In Sport mode, you have to be a bit careful, although the power isn't as extreme as with the VX4, I have to say. It's fine, it's manageable , and um, there is a range test included in the video.

The VX2 Pro GT relies entirely on its 10-inch pneumatic tires for shock absorption. For full suspension, you would need to look at the Vmax VX4 model.
