From the second I started pushing the Uppababy Minu V3, it really impressed me. Though it’s a travel stroller that has a simple fold and fits into most overhead bins, it rolls along like a full-size stroller. It’s so much sturdier than many of the other travel strollers I tested, and it’s easy to push one-handed, making it an ideal option when you’re pulling a suitcase or other luggage.Read M

The @uppababy Minu V3 has become our go to stroller and for good reason. We’re always on the move and even though it’s technically a travel stroller, we use it every single day. It’s lightweight, compact enough to fit in the car easily, but still feels sturdy and smooth to push around the city. The one hand fold is a game changer when you’re juggling everything else.View post B

Now Upab definitely listen to parent feedback because they now have a new taller seat and newborn compatible recline and it's now IATA approved which means it will fit in more overhead bins. But before we jump into that, let's start with the handlebar. The handlebar is actually a really good height. I know that some parents at 6'2 are comfortable with it.Watch B

And one of my favorite features next to the newborn recline is that the seat now sits higher, closer to parent on the stroller. That's something I really missed on the Cruise V2. And you still get the canopy that adjusts higher and lower as your child grows, giving them more head space.Watch M

And it's only going to be about 41.8 in high off the ground.Watch B

Unlike some ultralight models that sacrifice comfort or storage, the Minu V3 provides a full‑size seat and a 20‑lb basket, while still folding compactly. I will admit, though, that its folded size is a bit bulkier than other travel strollers. The Minu is not considered one of the tiniest folds, but it is a premium stroller for other reasons (read on).Read B
Both strollers are carry-on-friendly, feature excellent suspension, and work from newborn (with proper setup), but they shine in different ways, depending on whether you prioritize compact size or storage capacity.Watch B
For everyday use, the Minu V3 is still impressive. It offers a newborn-ready recline , one-hand fold, lightweight frame, integrated carry strap , and a generous 20-pound storage basket . However, it is best suited for paved and smooth surfaces and does not include the same premium features or versatility as the Kona.Read B
But something to note is that it is not a stroller for off-roading, which means that because of the type of wheels it has, you have to really consider the different types of terrain when it's rougher, rockier, maybe unpaved paths. It's probably built for more like city scenarios. Urban life. This has a really large canopy and different modes. It extends.Watch B r/Buyingforbaby reddit.com
Minu v3 pros/cons - Feels luxurious - frame is super sturdy - nice leather handle - generous basket - genuine one hand fold - seat does not recline fully upright - in Aus/NZ versions it doesn’t include the newborn leg cover - harness is cheap and lacks padding - carry strap is short and uncomfortableRead thread T
Looking at child comfort, the V3 seat is adjustable between a newborn acceptable recline, though it's not as flat as with many models, and an upright position that's unfortunately too sloped in my opinion.Watch B
Yes, it's heavier than most travel competitors and expensive, but it could be a travel companion or a one-and-done stroller for some families.Read T

On the negative side, the upright position on the MINU V3 is also a tad more sloped than on the V2 version, exasperating a common complaint that both models share of children sometimes sliding a bit too far forwards, which can be uncomfortable.Watch B r/Buyingforbaby u/Party-Vehicle-81 · owner

In short: Colugo fixed the big pain points (true one-handed fold, better buckle, taller handlebar) and delivers ~85% of the MINU experience for ~60% of the price. MINU still wins on ride, seat depth, basket size, and premium feel.Watch B
While the bassinet itself is lightweight and compact, the price tag might be a bit steep for some families. You're not just paying for a bassinet, you're also paying for the brand reputation and premium design, which while nice, isn't always accessible for everyone.Watch B
We also talk about who will benefit most from this stroller, including frequent travelers, city parents, and families with limited storage space, while highlighting trade-offs like less cushioning for older toddlers.Watch B
My one critique here is that while it folds compactly for a full-size stroller, it's not the lightest option on the market. So, if you're frequently hauling it into car trunks, you'll notice the weight. Let's pause here for a quick moment.Watch

We have the Aria, Minu v2 and Vista v3 and we love our combo! We got the stroller arms for the Minu and the infant insert for the Vista. We alternate the stroller depending on what we are doing. The Minu has been on 6 flights. The Vista has gone to Disneyland 6x (love the bottom storage!) Out son just turned 5 months so he’s out of the infant insert now and loves facing out.Read thread B
