Just got my hands on the Travelpro Platinum Elite and after my first trip with it, I already have a lot to say. I’ve traveled enough to know most bags look good until they don’t. This one is different. It was invented by a pilot and tested by flight crews, so the features aren’t just there to look good on a spec sheet. They’re built around how real travel actually works. The wheels got me first.

So, I'd rather have something like this size. It's just a little bit bigger. I see these a lot in my sky club that I work at. Um, not cheap, but um, yeah, not supposedly nice. This that what what's so special about today is this. Um, can you see that? Yeah. I don't know if this is a limited production run, but this is the um, intrigue black. So, it's not the normal black that uh, they make.

So, I just got my hands on this Travelpro Platinum Elite 29-in expandable spinner, and I'm seriously impressed. I know luggage can be a big investment, so I wanted to give you the lowdown before you decide if it's right for you. First off, this thing is huge. Perfect for those longer trips, or if you're like me and tend to overpack just a little. But even though it's big, it doesn't feel clunky.

After multiple round of testing dozens of bags, our best overall pick is the Travelpro Platinum Elite Expandable Carry-On . It's a spacious, sturdy bag with organizational features that make traveling with just a carry-on a breeze. For overpackers, we recommend Béis' The Carry-On , an expandable bag with a truly massive interior capacity.

For international travel where carry-on size compliance is strictly enforced and a bag failure mid-trip is genuinely disruptive, the Travelpro Platinum Elite or Away The Weekender are the most appropriate choices. Both have established reputations for compliance and durability.

So, I just got my hands on this Travelpro Platinum Elite hardside carry-on, and I have to say I'm pretty impressed. I travel a lot, so a good carry-on is essential, and this one seems to tick a lot of boxes. First off, the thing is seriously stylish. The shadow black with a leather trim gives it a really sleek, sophisticated look. It doesn't scream tourist, which I appreciate.

Bottom line: Buy it if you travel constantly and want a bag that won't fail you. If you're choosing between models, get the standard 21" - skip the Business Plus variant entirely.

I think it's a good suitcase um overall. You might have heard reputation about them having good wheels. They are good wheels. I mean this thing rolls freely. You got to kind of be careful not to like let it get away from you if you're on like a like a smooth surface. Obviously, I'm on a rug anyway, but just this thing I had it probably packed all the way out, just a little bit more than 50 lbs.
