The Archer AX55 does what a budget-friendly home-office router should do: current Wi‑Fi 6 basics, straightforward setup, a genuinely useful free security tier, and — most importantly — an active security-update commitment from TP‑Link rather than a quietly aging product. It's not a router for a large multi-floor home, a household full of Wi‑Fi 6E or Wi‑Fi 7 devices, or anyone who wants full threat protection without ever paying a subscription. But for a single-desk home office, a remote worker, or a small household that mainly needs dependable everyday Wi‑Fi and the option to add real security later, it's a sensible, honestly priced choice.Read B

Lacks a dedicated gaming mode which some competitors offer. VPN setup might be complex for beginners.Watch D
