Main pros for me are that this seat is fabulous. It's very comfortable for me. I do know some people find the Toto seats to be a little more narrow. They do round a little more. But I really love it. And the nozzle, the pressure on this, and the control are fabulous. I specifically love that you can have up to four custom settings.

The S5 uses a warm water wash that starts instantly and stays warm the entire time. You can choose between oscillating or pulsating spray modes, and adjust the pressure and position to match what feels right for you.

I have also tested multiple other betets, but I just upgraded our other bathrooms bedet seat to the Toto S5, which is the newest and currently highest recommended bedet seat on the market.

I have not had that issue with the S5. The temperature has stayed consistent during normal use. The remote has rear wash, soft rear wash, and front wash options. I can adjust the water pressure, temperature, and wand position. There are also oscillating and pulsating settings. I usually keep the pressure near the middle and make small changes to the wand position.

What stood out to me pretty quickly is that this one doesn't feel like a random add-on. It feels like a product that was thought through for everyday use. I think it makes the most sense for someone who wants warm water washing, a heated seat, odor control, and a dryer in one unit. It can also be useful for anyone with limited mobility who finds cleaning with toilet paper difficult. The main feature I noticed right away was the continuous warm water. The S5 heats water as it is needed instead of storing a small amount in a tank.

The wash performance is where this seat really earns its place. The rear wash, soft rear wash, and front wash all feel consistent. The oscillating and pulsating settings are not something I use every single time, but they are nice to have. I found the spray to be gentle enough for regular use, and it still felt effective. Some cheaper bidet seats I've tried felt either too sharp or too weak.

It fits an elongated toilet, so checking the bowl shape and measurements before buying is important. The color has a warm beige tone.
