Missing key features; offers less value than the full Elite.
Flagged 26 July 2026
The budget-price Elite trims the motor and reduces battery life, leading to earlier wear; its 2-year warranty is less generous than the flagship version.
Flagged 25 July 2026
The “Elite” name is often used for a lower-priced version that lacks the full power and battery life of the flagship model, leading to disappointment when buyers expect the same performance at a cheaper price.

The Theragun Elite is built for guys who train hard, sit too long, or just wake up feeling older than they should. QuietDrive tech keeps it civilized, while the deep-tissue power handles everything your foam roller keeps pretending it can fix. The ergonomic grip makes those hard angles manageable, and the intensity options mean you can dial in whatever your back is complaining about today.

Key benefits of the massage gun are that it is light weight, has an ergonomic handle, and has QuietForce Technology that makes it quieter than the previous generations of massagers. The massage gun is Bluetooth and app enabled to support guided massage routines to aid in your workout recovery and general soreness.

If you’re constantly on the go or you’re looking for a massage gun that you can travel with, we recommend the Theragun Elite 4th Generation. It’s the quietest of the Theragun massage guns, thanks to its QX65 proprietary brushless motor, and it includes five attachments. Plus, it comes with a hard-shell carrying case that won us over.

If the high cost of the Theragun Pro sounds like a deal breaker for you, but you still need a stable Theragun for your massage, the Theragun Elite is a good option to consider. It doesn’t sacrifice too much in terms of power and is quieter than the Pro, offering peace of mind.

Now, this is the fourth incarnation generation model and about a year ago, I tested the third version and this one's got some definite improvements over the former model. For example, it's Bluetooth enabled and you can download an app and utilize it to follow some programs, for example, for your various body parts, for your quadriceps, hamstrings, etc.

It’s powerful enough for deep muscle recovery but manages to stay quieter and easier to handle than the Pro model.

The THERAGUN ELITE is one best price point option for a top of the line massage guns available on the market today. The Theragun Elite by Therabody is equipped with five attachment heads that are user-friendly, super easy to interchange, has an awesome long-lasting battery and FIVE different speed options (I only really ever use Level 1 with my patients and personally).

The brand advertises it as one of the quietest in the range, but we found it noisy during our tests, reaching 62 decibels at the lowest speed and 70 decibels at the highest speed. This gun is also bulkier and heavier than others. Weighing 1 kg, its OLED screen displays speed, force measurement, and battery level. Thanks to the buttons, everything is easy to control.

Cons: 40 lbs stall force limits deep tissue performance.

I am rejecting this response because: there was no warning on the product that the battery was irreplaceable and an extremely fragile component. The addition of replaceable batteries shows that Therabody knew this was an issue. I am not making an exorbitant demand: I would like to replace my battery (at cost), which would be the best outcome.

Trustpilot Article

Dead after 3 months My first Theragun lasted about 6 years. I loved it. My second one died after three months, and I'm now waiting for my THIRD warranty replacement. Hard to think of a company that dropped more in quality. It's garbage now, and the customer service is awful. STAY AWAY.
