Regardless, the SA-C600 captures the feel of the music convincingly, delivering a combination of drama and fluidity that grabs a firm hold of our attention. As for how it sounds, it’s superb. Powerful 40W stereo speakers mean you aren’t ever wanting for volume, and they’ll fill a pretty large room with a rich, full-bodied sound. There’s a particularly engaging level of clarity through the midrange, alongside crisp highs that never sound pushed. A joy to use and listen to.

This is a thoughtfully engineered product that rightfully earned its What Hi-Fi? Awards. Whether you’re a casual listener or a budding audiophile, the SA-C600 will impress.

If HDMI ARC and phono input matter and you can stretch budget, Denon CEOL N-12 is a step up [3]; for a different industrial/aesthetic approach with phono at a higher price band, Technics SA-C600 is an option [4].

I’ve had this amplifier paired with some B&W 706 S2 speakers for the last six months and am very pleased with it. It is highly capable. Thank you for the English review.

The SA-C600 has been out for about 4 years and does seem, on paper, a far better buy and easier to use than the lower priced Marantz X/Denon units.
